| The Stonebrunt Mountains is a very spiritual place, home of the Kejekan people, who rule over the land atop Mount Klaw in their small fortress of Kejek. Recently Heretics from Paineel and Kobolds from the Warrens have found out how to get into the area and have started causing trouble here for the kejekans. This zone is available during Velious on progression servers. |

OH NO! i went all the way to paineel from lake of ill omen to g to his zone and guess what, i am KOS in paineel, im 2 necro gnome. its horrbie, i heard greattings about this zone and was exited but now i cant go, i would need to go right threw the heart of a KOS to m city to get to he zone to the warrens.

Yes, you do have to go through Paineel. Not the city itself, but the Paineel newbie area is still part of the Paineel zone.

To get to Stonebrunt, you only need to make it past 2 guards. If you are high enough to be going to Stonebrunt, the guards shouldn't bother you. Also, with a little trial and error, you can get any character past the guards withouth them noticing you.
Um...you don't have to go through Paineel to get to Stonebrunt Mountains.

i really like the sound of this place, do you thin a 22 necro would have a hard time? also, what is the closest sity to this zone?

The closest city to bind in is Paineel. You could get someone to bind you right outside of the Warrens.

hey all i look for 4 spawn for a astral cloak and legging.spawn are 1-sabertooth 2-leopard titan for cloak and 3-gigantic gorilla 4-gargantuan panda for the legging but i never see anyone of them. some1 can tell me where and how i can get the spawn.rheist lvl 46 wiz the rathe

Sorry forgot to tell you not to kill the Cat people. I was told it was bad faction. No illusions in their towns either. I was told they didnt like the wolf illusions of the druids or the enchanters, etc. They have the only town there, so you have to play nice with them. 8)

If you are asking about PCs. You may be the only one there. I have a lvl 35 druid there killing Highland tigers, pandas,etc. the most people I have seen there was 6. So the prey is relatively untapped when I am there. Good exp for me. Good hunting! Oh, you better bring your own group if you want to group.

Just wondering if there was any way to improve faction with the Kjekans? I got 4 heretic heads, but I'm Kos and can't do the quest =( Any help would be appreciated.

one thing for they guy that got the 4 heads what lvl are the mobs....where do they spawn........can 2 lvl 22's take them down?

might try to get a wolf form then try works with my iksar when i want to bank.

There is no bank in this zone and if you try to go into town as a wolf you will still be KOS. All forms of illusions are KOS.

Shamans Can go in with Illusion bear and it doesnt make them KoS or even change there faction.

I am a lvl 19 ranger as of this post. I find it a little hard to make it to this place with out being killed by the kobolds. I camo up and get to the outside of the Throne Room easily enough. Then, there is one mob who sees through camo(dont know about invis or sneak/hide or any of those other things). Anyway, he arggos me and then before i know it, i have the whole zone on me. I have found that you can get past him by sneaking on the left side of the wall. Sometimes he still gets me, but it works a lot of the time. Also the Cave Bat Lord saw through camo once too. If you plan on getting out of this zone, I would definatly suggest a map because this zone is very confusing. Other than that, Stonebrunt is really great zone and i have been hunting there with only death since lvl 18 and that death was from falling from the Kejeken town. Hope I helped someone.

hehe, sry bout last post, went ld right after header, but anyhow, i've read all the posts and i realy like the sound of this zone). plus im goin to the warrens to camp mugglewump i was jus wonderin if a 26 cleric would have a tuff time find'n a group? any help or info would be greatly appreciated)

I've killed 8 heretics and they've all been lvl 26.
Male heretic is a SK and hits very hard so you probably want to root and blast if you can. Female heretic is a necro and dosen't seem to have much hps. Both were possiable, but not easy, when my druid was lvl 26.

Herectics con green to me at 36, so i think they are lvl 20-25. But be very carefull I only saw two kind of heretics: SK (ht:around 150 dd) and the woman is a necro who can fear you! So I will say dont try to kill them until you are about 30...

I don't know if I should write this and let more peps know about this place. But, This place is GREAT. In your low 20's this place is it. Great loot and exp. I had a lvl 22 mage when i came in here. Now he is 26. I made 25 and 26 in two days. My average bank run is 100pp, and thats only because i cann't carry any more. I don't plan on leaving until things are green. Oh by the way did I mention that noone comes to this zone! Many days with just myself in here. Once you learn how to pull here almost totally safe.

This zone is really great for soloer!
I solo from 36 to 43 in this zone...it s a little bit difficult first because of the adds you can have during the fight, but you ll learn to live with it :) or to avoid it. I did the quest of the wakizashi about 10 times and the heretic heads quest 2 times (got 2 headbands ;( )! I am a bard and with these quests i bought some SS armor! At 42 I killed (chant kitting) snowbeast and got the footpads of the tiger (good money too)! Very often I was just alone in the zone...You have the choice of hundreds of mobs (I prefer panda because of the loot: claw and gems). Really...go there, learn and love this zone! it really worth it ;)

actually yes they do still spawn, well on xegony as of last week, about 11/22, we killed giang yin, and prowler 11/23 morning, giang yin ticked m off cause i was at the raging higland camp looking for blue bamboo when it ran after me, i died, came back and killed him, got 2 pelts, then i bound up, i dunno why, and i died on a naggy raid the next day, and there's prowler, so i fear kited him for a bit, had plet, no special loot like legs, giang yin didn't ahve robe or claws etiher =( i had the gorilla pelt in bank from when i killed ghostbakc a few months ago, just got legs last weekend, still wearign ghostbacks gloves, take care all
Hello, I noticed that it is not listed in the Kejekan entries what faction they are on. I have killed a few and lost faction with the Kejek Village(surprise surprise) and the Peacekeepers. Who exactly are the Peacekeepers? Any info would be appreciated.

The Peacekeepers are the ppl at the Temple of Quellious in Erudin, so it can be either pally or cleric

Looking at the list on the beastiary, and from some of the posts, it doesn't appear so. Does this mean that the (IMHO) nice quest in erudin has gone the way of the titans too?
Any information, beit from someone who has seen a titan recently, or from someone who has completed the quest in erudin, is appreciated

Since the trivial loot code was removed has anyone seen the titans spawn? I used to see at least 1-2 all the time, everyday, but now I haven't seen ANY in days!
It is entirely possible that Verant has slowed or removed those spawns along with the Loot coding. Perhaps a tracker can confirm their presence or absence. The other possibility is that there are now farmers killing them as the spawn.

I think many of these weapons that drop here look really good. I love the look! The stats, however....
My question is this:
Do the higher mobs in the mountains drop FS versions of the bronze ones I'm getting ie the Katana and the one that looks like the runed falchion? I'd like to look forward to getting some if they do.

Gotten FS katanas, tachis and nagintas (sp?) off the heretic invaders. Be nice if there were magic versions tho ... maybe on the moon

I just started hunting in this area and ran accoss a No Drop "Old Bronze Necklace." Does anybody have any idea what this item is used for? It appears that there isn't a limit to how many of this item you can have on you.
I loot them off the Kobold camp right outside the passage way to the Warrens.

There are two different kinds of heretics I have found on track in my experiences...
One shows as a "Heretic Invader" I have found these guys roaming everywhere from the beach all the way to the Kejekan Village. These have always been female necromancers.. although I have heard there are males, I have yet to see one
I also tracked a mob named "Jarqual Soulsayer" the other day, around a lvl 32 Shadowknight. Killed him, looted a heretic head which worked in the quest. Found him WELL northwest of the village, roaming around the snowy mtns.

By any chance does anyone know where the gloves of the rockclimer come from...i know its this zone but who drops them, or is it a quest...and if so who gives the quest.
