| Kerafyrm's Lair, formerly known as Sleeper's Tomb, is a dark dungeon located beneath the icy wastes of Velious, and was used by the First Brood to contain Kerafyrm.
Anyone at least 55th level can now enter this zone. The actual key (no longer required) is gained through this quest. Eras ago, there was no such thing as the Claws of Veeshan or Ring of Scale -- dragons from all over Norrath were a part of the same faction. At some point, two dragons of different color decided to mate. Resulting from this union were Kerafyrm, a baby crystal dragon and an ensuing conflict amongst the dragons. In a successful effort to end the war, the First Brood imprisoned Kerafyrm in a tomb deep beneath the wastes of Velious. Leaving four warders in place to guard the now-dormant crystal dragon. Jaled'Dar, a rebel dragon amongst the Claws of Veeshan, wanted to bring the Golden Age back to Norrath and decided that The Sleeper had to be awakened. He, however, he perished in a great battle with the iksars and now rests in his spirit form in Dragon Necropolis. Due to his passing, he needed to enlist the aid of Norrathian adventurers to further his cause. In due time, Kerafyrm was indeed awakened from his tomb, and went through the icy wastes, and into Skyshrine. (Quite a lot of time passed before he resurfaced in Crystallos.) With the warders no more and Kerafyrm free, this historic tomb is now home to a group of ancient dragons: Zeixshi`Kar, Vyskudra, Tjudawos, and Kildrukaun. Level 55 is required to enter the zone. |

LIE LIE LIE!! SLeeper has not been awoken ON vallon Zek. A good friend of mine is defiant. and he say they're not stupid enough to throw away chance of ever looting priceless velium and primal again!! PLUS no body seems to talk about it... meaning sleeper hasn't been awoken. There are however.. rumor that defiant and this other guild they're ailled with are to awaken him.

Can someone give me a place where I can get a visual of the sleeper? Im confused with all this junk. What does he look like and if hes asleep how does he attack you? Maybe hes just havin horrible nightmares that he cant wake up from? /shrug. Anyways does someone have a screenshot of him?

The name of the Sleeper is Kerafyrm.

Look, sleeper cant be killed. Not even a 300 manaburning wizzies would do anything (First because once the manaburn hits, ALL of the wizzies mana is drained, second is that ST would crash) because he can hit for 1500+ damage and (Rumored) 32k DT. And dont even try saying a bunch of warriors with the wizzies because 1 swipe of his claw and there would be no more raid force. AND THOSE PPL WHO POST THOSE DUMB GARBAGE POSTS, GET LOST, NEWBS!!! 
And yes, Defiant woke Sleeper on Vallon Zek, Primal and Priceless Velium weapons are a fantasy in Xegony, and even though Lord Vyemm is the same lvl as Sleeper, Vyemm has been killed, Sleeper hasn't. Just my

man Defiant are soooo stupid. I hope they all died. You can't kill Sleeper...at least not with normal gear. I heard that you need a special weapon for it (check Mayong Mistmoore).
quite folish to wake him up if you not got all the facts about him...like if there is a quest that you need to do before you go.
In my opinion....it only takes 1 man to kill Sleeper.

No offense Dracas, but what exactly do you mean by it takes one person to kill the sleeper? If this guy is supposed to be the toughest in the game, then there is no way that one person alone could kill it ...

How do you get to the sleepers tomb and what continent is it on?
Good luck getting in though, you have to earn the key, which is not easy. Here's an address as to this particular quest: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=938. And even if you do get the key, your only hope to get primal weapons in the tomb is to go in with a lot of people, and they're going to need keys as well.

If you been looking at all the Screen Shot of the Sleeper you'll notice he carry a SO call "Heart" :) Try to aim for that. For all that I know this Spleeper has more HP than anyone can imagine. I am lucky to be on a server where he is not awoken yet. And that I wish to say "Who ever awaken the sleeper on Vallon Zek is sooo freaken going to be on my KoS list.. For if the sleeper is gone so does the Priceless Velium and Velium! yah know...! SO STAY THE FREAKEN AWAY FROM MY PAL the sleeper! Instead kill his Guardian and Hand me that Priceless Velium and I'll show you the way to a Dragon's Heart. bye bye.

Posted: Jun 28 2002 at 11:38 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) this freaken oversized lizard ( no effence to all you ikky's) but he zones, he goe's and kills lord whatever his name is then despawns back to sleepers tomb, after the guild that awekened him dies he hopes outs STgoes staight through EC and then kills the other dude, then after kereafrym has killed him he pops back infront of ST and then goes back to sleep, the warders dont spawn for a month and he cant be awaken for a month, so you can get corpse back, when you died ( no doubt you didnt) but the hard thing is every dragon in the game goes insain and the all go crazy till all the 4 warders respawn.

ok eversence i have seen i screenshot of the sleeper i was hooked and could not stop learing about it as the rumor go's Kerafyrm kills lord yelsik (not sure if that is the way to spell it)

I've heard all sorts of things about him. He's a lvl 75 creature that basically would take a good 100-200 highly organized people at lvl 60 to kill this guy.
Another thing. Isn't it kinda sucky that when you kill his lvl 65 minions your prize is him coming out and killing you. Yeay!
I say let the guy sleep!

Manaburn does great damage. But at his scale, it would be no different than an ant bite. Either way, it doesn't seem that the Sleeper was intended to be killed. With that in mind, I'm pretty sure that his drop table would be empty. The only thing that may come out of killing him (if possible)is bragging rights. But then, who would believe you anyway. LOL.

The thing about the guild being banned for exploiting the everquest bug was true. They were unaware they were being observed throughout. And were immediately banned without argument. I have had a conversation with someone who knows. Exploiting any bug for intentional gain is a bannable offence. In fact one of the few truly one shot bannable offences. VI take a common sense policy on most of these things but have been very clear. I dont religiously read the rules but there are monkeys in trees in uninhabited jungles of south america that still know not to mess with a bug in EQ ).
