Sorry if this has already been answered but is it true that the Corroded plate BP for Warr Champion's Bp drops off ANY mob in the zone, just more frequently at the arena? Thanks

Would just like to mention I have raided in Kael arena more than 100 times, and am now Duo-ing there for my alts, and have seen every piece of armor drop except the Plate BP and the Chain BP. So I would have to say, after downing literally tens of thousands of giants, that these are indeed, very rare drops from the arena. I have only seen the Silk Robe once, and the Leather Tunic twice, and these dropped from a Veteran and mobs near DtV.
Suggestion: Find sidequests or wait until raids in ToV Halls of Testing (the Skyshrine quests)where they drop more commonly, and have better stats for the most part.

I don't think it drops of 'any' mob. Mainly the higher level ones. From what I've read all the Thurg armor drops in the arena or sometimes near the bank. I have been looking for the leather tunic the last few weeks and did get some boots(not sure which ones) from bank area. I've never heard of them dropping anywhere else.
Armor drops in general are most common in the arena, but they can also drop in the mannor, especially during the 9th ring cycle... We used to go to Iceshard Manor and run the cycle over and over to equip our tanks. Not 100% sure, but have also heard they can drop down by the throneroom area near tormax's spawn point.

I have only been on ONE Kael raid (with my old guild) and we did not use DKP but rather rolled for items. I was lucky enough to roll for and WIN the corroded plate BP.
We were raiding in the throne room btw so I can verify that it does indeed drop here.

OK I was running thru Kael today and decide to poke my head into the arena area.. get up there in between the two stair sets and I see a Giant and a Wolf in the Center of the arena.. "Todd the Wrangler" (or somethign that started with a W) and "Blackfangg" .. they arent listed here and I've never seen them before.. they were green to me at 65. They despawned just after I got the site open to look emp up.. soo I didnt get to keel em ! I tried hanging out but Capt Bvellos roamed into me and had to scoot.
I saw a wolf in the pit today named Swift Claw, standing right next to Grenden the Destroyer. Swift Claw glared at me threateningly, even though all the giants like me. He despawned in less than a minute so that's all I found out.

Just for something to do I made a level 1 ogre and am now running through Kael. I too saw 2 mobs facing off in the arena (they weren't actually fighting but were just standing on the PvP pad staring each other down). Taken letter for letter, their names were "Toldd the Rager" and "Grenden the Destroyer". They are both Level 1 (white to me).
I jumped down into the arena and managed to hail them both. Neither responded - but it may be because I am dubious to them. Within seconds, Toldd the Rager despawned and I have yet to return to my EQ screen to see if the other did as well (although I'm certain that he has ;))

PS: Well, I just looked at my screen and when Grenden despawns there is some random text from the arena spectators:

I have a guild raid tomorrow and the meeting is in WL. I have yet to unp!$$ off Wuoshi out there so a druid port is out. Could I run from EW to WL invis, and let's assume for a moment it lasts the whole way through, could I make it straight through and avoid fighting without the rest of the SA army?

Yes you can easily make it all the way through. None of the mobs see invis if you make a bee line from EW to WL. Not to mention there are plenty of "safe spots" where no mobs roam incase invis starts to drop.

Got a 65 nec bored and want to farm arena for MQ's. Where in Kael does invis stop werkn? thats all :)
It stops work near the Royal's near King Tormax and the guards at the entrance to the arena. However I bet you could FD pull them and have your pet beat the crap out of them.

This drops from various giants in the arena. Get yourself a group of well tuned people and your good to go. Would recommend Tank(War/SK/Pal),Healer(Cleric prefered), and Enchanter. Sometimes you get adds and it just becomes a Pain in the @$$ if you have to ghetto mez.(and yes I know Giants can't be mezzed only charmed.) You know what I'm talking about.

Im a 38 pally, with semi decent gear and strong enough to kill pretty much any of the dorfs outside thurg (minus the tower guards). I wanted to try something new, so I soloed them for about 3 levels and got about a dozen heads, and turned them in. Im now amiable with everyone (cept Tormax). One day, I was talkin to my friends and they ask me why im pro-giant. I tell them that they have better melee armor. They tell me the armor is from ToV, and I whack myself in the head. Im stuck with good faction, a hard way of getting exp, and no money (bought all those heads). Yay, im screwed, stupid dorfs

The armor pieces for giant armor drop in ToV. You still need Kael faction to turn them in in Kael, and it's still the better melee Velious armor. If it's getting into ToV to get the drops you're worried about, farm up the cash and find someone to MQ it for you.

Was wondering where Oracle Bloodbaron PRECISELY spawns, know he spawns in manor. Is he in throne room, behind it, or in side rooms outside throne room?
Best way to become ally with CoV faction. Raid here with the guild or whatever and you will have great CoV faction in no time.

hey there, i'm a 49 paladin on the Tribunal, i was wondering if i would be able to solo anything effectively in here? or is there any better spot to go for soloing or random partnering/grouping at this level. any advice would be great. thanks

My guild raided here a few days ago... we spent about 4 hours farming the armor got about 4 drops... 2 plate boots some leather piece and plate arms, also got a silvery belt of contention. We had 12 people or so all around level 50 some a tad higher... overall a very easy spot for loots

invis works only up to a certain point then there are see invis giants which your gonna have to fight through :-)

Got a pretty crappy no drop item from Battlerager in platehouse today, Itslike 3 STR, is called the "Gem of Rage" and can't find out what its for, anyone have a clue?

Not many pick-up groups in Kael often, but if you wanted to bring your own, you'd probably want to wait until around lvl 50 or so.
