This is the planar home of Tunare, the goddess of nature. It's entered via a portal at the top of the tower in the northern part of the Wakening Land.

There is no known way to regain faction in this plane once you've damaged it. The moment an enemy of Tunare steps into the plane, the Protectors of Growth will be sent to hunt them down.

PoG Hramonize?
# Apr 25 2001 at 1:13 PM Rating: Default
Has anyone attempted having a NON-KOS druid or ranger harmonize the protectors of growth? wonder if its possible to simply remove them from the equation by having a druid or ranger earn their keep this way on a PoG raid?

Does Tunare ever speak to her followers?
# Apr 17 2001 at 6:39 PM Rating: Default
I am wondering if Tunare ever speaks to her followers? I am amiable to her and a wood elf druid. Do you have to be a certain level, faction standing, race, class? Just curious if there's a way to speak to her without getting killed or take any faction hits and such.
One Question
# Apr 16 2001 at 4:15 PM Rating: Default
Will anything in here Agro on a Wood Elf Druid worshipper of Tunare ??

Thank You
RE: One Question
# Apr 16 2001 at 11:59 PM Rating: Default
Creatures here shouldn't agro on you if you worship Tunare and haven't killed anything in this plane. Be sure not to accidentally hit your auto-attack button when you have something targetted. I had a fellow guildy, a half elf ranger of Tunare, that wasn't KOS to start with til he gave a SoW to someone in the zone that was in a raid. It only took one faction hit and he became KOS to the druid and ranger guilds in Kelethin, not sure about any other guilds though, so don't give any buffs, SoW's, heals, and such to anyone who's fighting stuff. And in no way should you ever get talked into dragging someones corpse in this zone. If they are KOS here and you help them out by dragging their corpse, you become KOS yourself. Just some pointers to remember. Hope it helps out.

I'm a 54 Woodie Druid and i started off Amiable here, until i timed my buffs wrong on a raid with my guild. Only 3 faction hits took me down to indifferent ! Be careful treehuggers, save your faction so you can do the quests.
RE: One Question
# Apr 16 2001 at 11:50 PM Rating: Default
I hit lvl 46 with my wood elf druid who's a follower of tunare today. Decided to visit the plane and check it out. Everything here viewed me amiably, including Tunare herself who's in the middle of the zone in the top of a treehouse. The loc of it is 1700,-1700. That's where I entered the tree at, have to climb along the side of the tree, a path leading up to the pent house. I didn't have any problems, and you shouldn't either if you didn't take any faction hits to Tunare. Definitly a zone to scout out if your not KOS here.

Faction Hits
# Apr 05 2001 at 7:18 PM Rating: Default
Killing here does it make you KoS in Firiona Vie or anywhere else for that matter
RE: Faction Hits
# Apr 09 2001 at 1:39 AM Rating: Default
It will make you KOS to basically all of Kelethin and Felwythe yes...however I THINK you should be ok with Firiona Vie, seeing as how their factions aren't related together.

You may not be totally KOS in Kelethin and Felwythe but the Clerics, Druids, Paladins, ect...I would stay away from them. ;)
be careful

was a little bored in WL so thought what the hell, i'll visit pog briefly for a quick look.
Not a great idea cos this is a plane zone and deserves lotta respect.
zoned in invis through the tower no prob and there were only a few ppl in the zone.
The zone in point is a small ruin and a wolf i thnik wandered past me np.
Started chatting to the ppl in the zone who were tunare worshippers dru and rng and they mentioned that the guardians of the zone were headed aggro speed to the zone in point and i should ZONE NOW which i did.
Seems thesemobs can track/sense accross the whole zone and a DE neco inny worhipper/inny killer aint too popular.
So id recommend you have a few groups there with you to kill these mobs who will track you down.

Looks like ill have to wait a while on a bonecaster robe but as one of the guys in the zone said , ppl have lost all their gear with non recoverable corpse up there.

as a nec, on death you could zone in, summon, loot a few items, gate rinse repeat but it could be risky and could be a hassle

LOL Spiderlilly...that was Rasplorien and myself (Teeil) Hiya!

Aye any evil worshippers that zone in there inviz MAY be ok (haven't confirmed this) but once inviz drops...you've got about 30 seconds to get out of there before the Protectors of Growth charge you and totally destroy you.

Breaking this place wil be a pain
# Mar 13 2001 at 5:32 PM Rating: Default
I've been here as a High Elf (yes you are utterly safe as a good High Elf) several times. I have to say breaking this place would be a ***** and a half.

Ok upon zone in...you've got two Whorls of Natural Energy to deal with. Make that two mobs.

Plus you've got all kinds of wanderers from the plains where the zone in is, and they have an extreme agro range...make that five.

Plus you've got th Protectors of Growth...they will agro on anything evil from across the zone. ANYTHING. Dark Elves, Iksar, Trolls, Ogres. Any class thats a necro or SK. Make that seven uber hard mobs to deal with. AT least 7. Thats a rough guess.

My advice?

You've got two ideas...one don't raid here.

Two...if you are utterly insane...read this.

Break in group consists of four groups, one you zone in spread out, but not too much! Don't bring any other mobs! Watch your backs and stuff!
Take out the Whirls first, then any other add on mobs. If any of the break in members are dark races...kill the mobs fast, because you've got at least one maybe two Protectors of Growth charging at you from across the zone...although the zone is huge, so that will give you a little time.

Don't be afraid to have some clerics camp out, just in case. This plane could very well be the hardest to break in, but once done, it shouldn't be TOO bad if the planar raid knows what they are doing.

WRONG

One of my guildies (accidently laff) zoned in here and found out he needed a tp to get out. He was not kos. i was a high elf so i quickly went to his aid. I invised up and zoned in. i was fine till i casted evac and my invis dropped. I quickly found out that faction here works according to your god not race. (umm, solusek ro) Tunare doesnt like me. dont tell all high elfs the are fine here you bastage. cr was pretty simple. zoned in invis with a tunare druid, i dragged my corpse invis to the nearest wall, when i started looting druid casted camo on me and casted evac when was almost done looting. we poofed before the runners got to us. HIGH ELFs worshiping SOL RO are KOS NOT all high elfs are safe here.

To the originator of this post.. I have to repectfully disagree with you. I'm a Cleric of Cazic-Thule. (Evil to PoG before I ever killed a single thing here) First off everyone gather at the top of the tower by the tree. (I call it a Mushroom Cloud or "MC") Everyone buff up and Invis then zone in. Our people head West to the Wall and south a bit a spot we picked on the wall. I won't give exact loc.. thats for each individual guild to find their best spot.

It almost never fails but someone invis will drop somewhere along the way. If that happens to you .. just get a loc and die. Most people will make it to the wall. Well all ready tanks drop invis. Let the PoGs come. Once there everyone wack em. After the PoGs have been killed have monks, SKs drag bodies to be ressed. Kill any wanders that might come by... Buff up more and if not ready wait for the 2nd PoG attack with full force.

We then eventually move down the hill... and from there we have fun. I've been in PoG with only 3 groups before and did well. I've also been up there with 30 people of which only 2 were Clerics.. I was one of the two... and did fine.

PoG is fun.. you just have to plan everything from pulls to moves to whatever around the PoGs. Get the time down on the PoGs, know where the Named Treants are, stay away from the Quest Guilds and Tunare and this Plane becomes a lot of fun.

You're BOTH wrong.

I've broken this place a few times, and yes it is hard. But two teams of people who know what they are doing can do it, but it's a ***** to do.

BTW the post above...I was mildly amused.

Bard = Broken
# Mar 22 2001 at 10:41 AM Rating: Default
All you have to do is send in one KoS bard buffed with MR/FR/CR and As many Hit points as you can stack on him and let him kite everything around while you zone in inv, get to your camp spot and get ready to fight. When you are ready to fight you just pull single mobs off the bard and have at it.

Its just that easy.

UPDATE ON KEEPER!!!!
# Mar 28 2001 at 8:42 AM Rating: Default
UPDATE! UPDATE!

Prior to the last patch, you could single this weinie out and get some nice stuff. He has always dropped 2 spells, once necro legs, last night wizard legs.

NOW when you start doing damage to him, ALL the phase pumas RUN to his aid.

And I know it isn't till you start damaging him. I pulled him with annul magic and dragged him halfway across the zone, and I had no adds. Right as he died, all the pumas started showing up (which mean they were en route about the time he started taking damage).

Justa word of warning people, this guy himself is a WIMP, but all his puma buddies are level 60.

Be careful.

I'm an Ogre Shaman and would love to zone in just to see the place, but I imagine I am KOS here (although I am dubious to the fawns in the tower where the entrance is) and don't really want to become a corpse within 3 seconds of zoning in. are there mobs in aggro range of where you appear once you take the portal in?

Thanks

Once you're level 60, who cares? You don't need to train, or even buy and sell if you don't want to. It's not like your spells will stop working if you are KOS to your god (although they should).

Come to think of it, given Verant's past track record, I wouldn't put it past them to make such a change in the future, leaving you with a level 60 doorstop. Never mind.

Conned red to a level 60 and has more hp than you have probaly ever even dreamed of. Only hits for 160 or so and has really low resists. Be prepared for a VERY long fight. With 28 people who were mostly low 50's it took us 53mins to kill one the first time and 45mins to kill the second one. My suggestion is that you assign the secondary assist to keeping it occupied while you fight the protectors of growth when they come for you. With shaman slow this mob isn't too bad, just takes forever to kill. I have heard estimates of around 1.5million hp and I am inclined to believe it.
brownies? ack.
# Jan 04 2001 at 12:37 PM Rating: Default
That was supposed to read like this: How come Mom let brownies onto our plane? I had bad faction with those brownie bastards in Lfay, even as a youngster, and have killed plenty to make those KOS to me. I hope these aren't tied to the same faction. Considering them Lfay brownies have our braided ivy cords, we were quite obviously supposed to kill them. If Verant is smart, this won't affect our faction with Mom. Wait what am I saying, Verant smart?

Rumbleroot
# Jan 01 2001 at 8:51 PM Rating: Good
Rumbleroot - named Treant who roams around the SE corner of the PoG.

Stats - not sure
Loot - no clue

Annoying Habits:
1) Summons spirits (big wisp dudes) from elsewhere in zone.
2) Chases puller in slow motion
3) Waits till he gets to main group and casts a NASTY AOE DOT - Swarm of Retribution (very nice AI, IMO - just annoying)

Number 3 pretty much ended our adventure - seems to be a magic based DOT (can be dispelled, with difficulty) which does LOTS (>2000 hp) of damage to everyone in the area - and this is a LARGE area. Zaps anyone who is not KOS as well.

Just a bit of a warning - avoid the large named treants unless you are ready for a serious "rumble".

how to get in
# Dec 26 2000 at 3:11 AM Rating: Default
it seams like they would but I thought I would ask, does anyone know if druids get any type of TP into this zone? I know wizards get TPs into the other planes and since this is a nature loving zone, it makes sence that druids would get the TPs into this one.
RE: how to get in
# Jan 01 2001 at 12:50 AM Rating: Decent
I do not think we druids get a tele spell inside, we can tele spell to Wakening Lands that teles into spot with a lvl 63+ sk dragon named Wuoshi with Claw of Veeshan faction (kill giants in Kael to raise) this zone in is about 4 min walk with sow to Plane of Growth entrance so it wouldn't make sense to create a tele spell inside.
