| This is the planar home of Tunare, the goddess of nature. It's entered via a portal at the top of the tower in the northern part of the Wakening Land.
There is no known way to regain faction in this plane once you've damaged it. The moment an enemy of Tunare steps into the plane, the Protectors of Growth will be sent to hunt them down. |

Do the faction hits you would take on this plane affect your ability to travel via druid rings un-invised?

Why do they make pallys kill Tunare to get their best wep (that Flameburg that drops off of her)? It just does not seem right to kill ur own god to get ur best weapon.

YOU SUCK! DRUIDS SUCK! Druids are the cause of millions of deaths when they cant snare their mobs because they DONT HAVE MR DEBUFFERS! plus their DOTS SUCK! SUCK! You are absolutely the stupidest person I have ever seen in EQ.. and that is saying a TON. Druids and wizzies, in the high end game, are THE 2 most powerful overall classes in the game. Their Dots suck? They can stack 5 at 53, with epic.. and hate to tell ya buddy, but damage wise their best dot is pretty much equal with a shaman... and they get their last one at 53.
In a group, a shaman buffs and slows.. that is pretty much it. Druids buff/debuff/snare and nuke. And succor is quite nice as well. Killer dmage shields, the 60 regen is incredible, PoTG of course.
Anyone who goes around saying that their class can beat up other classes is beyond retarded. Every class is solid in its own ways.

ok i made the mistake of hunting there when it first came out unknown to me that it would kill my faction. i am a 54th enchantress under karanna diety(if i had known would have went to agnostic) anyway i can bring faction back up with those i have hurt it with currently went from indifferent to dubious with ranger guild in gfay but i am still consider a pagan and if i sit and med or open spell book from what i found i get KOS'd so does anyone know how to better the Paganism part of this it seems as though it is on a different scale of the faction hits cuz bringing up the faction didn't help any

I just checked the boards for Inny and CT..odd, nobody griped about anyone killing them off for thier lootage. It has been mostly druids complaining and whining about Tunare getting killed. I used to wonder why, until I got my own chars above 50.
Druids are the easiest class to play, no secret. And being of an easy occupation, they are spoiled. And like spoiled brats, they will whine...hiding their senseless sniveling under he excuse of "roleplaying". I know a few real roleplayers and they would never post a RP comment outside of the game, they would do it IN game..where the RP BELONGS. The whiners come here, to post their frustration about thier "unkillable" Godess having been terminated. Their sense of snotty superiority is now smashed, and lo, all who com ehere to find useful information have to sift through garbage posted by snivelers who take the easy way out on the character creation screen.
My advice:
1. Quit sniveling.
2. Get used to her dying because after seeing her loot table, plenty of people are going to target her for death.
3. Quit sniveling and go get some of that loot yourself, it is worth having to fix factions.
4. Make a charachter with REAL difficulty. If you don't know what hard is, make an Iksar shammy, Erudite Paladin and Gnome warrior. They will teach you what difficult is, build up a thick skin and prove to you that not everything is easy....or fair.
Until then, stop posting sapm/trash and let the experienced players post useful information that won't become lost amongst trash-talk form "roleplaying" druids (or any other whining class/race).

I agree. I am a druid and our class is quite easy to play with. I also agree that most of us druids are spoiled brats. I came up here and got some sweet loot. It was well worth the many hours of faction fixing. Come on people! Faction isnt the most important thing out there!

Seems to me you're doing a lot of whining over other people's whining. No class/race is whiny, there are only whiny people.

Alright you whiney bastards! You want a REAL challenge? Go on, I dare you try this, wimps! First, pick any class/race/diety you want. Now, this is the challenge: Tie both your hands behind your back (no getting someone to do this for you, you have to tie your OWN hands behind your back so you can't move them. Now, either play facing away from the screnn (mirror's are cheating), or lean back in your chair like a REAL gamer, and play with your feet. THAT will teach you the meaning of the words "Difficult character to play"!!!

Has anyone found a way to repair faction in PoG, not the tunare factions outside the plane, but inside the plane?... I unknowingly went to PoG when it was first found on my server.. (several months ago), and took about five or six faction hits right off the entrance.. and became kos to all the tunare lovers in PoG and outside PoG.. after several weeks of major pain in the **** work, I finally regained my Tunare faction outside the Plane, but this did not help me inside. I was hoping to be able to do the quests inside the plane is why I am asking, and would appreciate any info anyone might have.

1 pieces per hour sounds about right, it used to be more till they made things drop alot less. One time when my guild went there 1 item dropped total.

I've heard both good and bad things about drop rates, can anyone with some experience give me a little info? I read that one piece per hour is the standard rate somewhere, is that way off? Just wondering...

If you are non KoS to the various tunarians in WL (ie unicorns, faerie dragons, etc) does that mean you're non KoS in PoG? If that's not the case, is there a way to test PoG faction before heading in? I don't want to get in there and get in a bad situation too soon. Right now I'm not interested in doing much more than a little sight seeing. I've turned in two backpacks of muffins to Pandos (dunno how much that'll really help though). Group would consist of
High Elf enchanter follower of Karana
Human Druid follower of Karana
Ogre Warrior follower of no one
Later the human druid may want to do some of the TunareCourt quests. Will this be possible if he follows Karana?

The faction that you lose here is interesting. You lose faction with ALL paladins and clerics who worship Tunare NOT all high elves. You will still be able to bank, buy and walk around in most of Felwithe. Be careful of the Pally guild, cleric guild and Alia the Pure (there may be others). Also, after PoG you will be KOS to the Sisters on Sister Isle in OOT. Your FV faction will be ok EXCEPT for inside the cleric/pally building where you will be immediately disposed.
I am not exactly sure of any more, but pretty much ANY high elf cleric/pally NPC will attack you as well. Also, killing DE's will *help* raise some high elven factions up but it won't get all of them.
All in all, I haven't suffered any from the faction loss, you can still port to Druid rings so you're fine.

Actually there is at least 1 drop us druids and rangers can use that drops in PoG , Woven Cord of Mistletoe, stats is 6 ac, 15 cha, 10 wisdom, 7 disease, 7 poison, i love mine :o)

I was on a PoG raid not long ago trashing factions yet again and a pally in my group started sending me tells saying he was told that he wont be able to do his pally epic quest now cause he trashed his tunar faction.
I was also told that there isnt any way to fix yer faction with tunare after killing there. I got back to indifferent with elf guards by popping a pet in crushbone and aoe mezzing trains, but I was told I wont be able to fix it with elf bankers and merchants or with tunare herself.
Is any of this true? I'm a lvl 56 n00b chanter, there's a lot I still dont know about the game. Personally I don't really care about the factions with this char, I'm KoS in all but 4 cities anyway... I just need to watch where i go is all. But I have other chars who may not want to trash thier tunare faction if it can't be fixed.

Karana wouldn't spawn in the Plane of Growth. He's more likely to found in the Plane of Storms.

Also, you won't find druid/ranger/pally go into PoG b/c there are no item drop for those classes.

the reason why is because tunare from a roleplayer point oof view doesnt seem the type to want to kill especially her followers unlike cazic or inny . also when it comes to armor keep in mind that with the updates to hate all classes can now get only two pairs of armor . now in my opinion they should open two more planes with luclin

The spell is named Alter Plane: Sky but the zone is named Plane of Air (check your everquest folder and you will find a file named airplane). It is a bit inconsistent perhaps.
