Does anyone have a recipe for this?

I was just wondering if someone has a recipe for this. The reason I am asking is that the scroll info shows two scrolls, one a regular and the other a no drop. I am assuming the regular can be created then handed over to the ranger, like Hail of Arrows was. Thanx for your time. )))

I added the recipe.
Does Hastened Trueshot AA affect Warder's Wrath?

With the SoF expansion, a new aa has been offered: Hastened Trueshot. The description says:
This is a passive ability; it does not need to be activated.
Requirements: Level 73, No previous ability Requirements.
Decreases the wait time before you can use your Trueshot or Aimshot ability.

Does it affect the reuse timer on Warders Wrath? And if so, by how much? My guess is no, otherwise it would have specified it in the description. But hope springs eternal.

I believe it is safe to assume that the Hastened Trueshot AAs will *NOT* shorten the reuse timer of Warder's Wrath (WW). What this AA line appears to do is bring Trueshot's (TS) reuse timer down to a similar duration as WW. In other words, we have to PAY to fix the loss of WW for over 1 hour when TS is activated.

As WW and TS have their own unique reuse timer values, I therefore expect Hastened Trueshot to ONLY deduct from TS itself. As I mentioned lower down this thread, they are "linked" but do not actually share the same timer (click WW and TS also goes down until WW's reuse timer expires, and vice versa). This means each DISC is at the mercy of the other.

I have not purchased these AAs yet, so I do not have definitive proof, but all the technical elements point to what I have said above. It might still be possible that WW may be affected unintentionally, but I seriously doubt it.

Recast time

WW and TS are not on the same timer. WW's recast time is listed as 2025. While TS's recast is listed as 4050.

VERIFIED AGAIN: WardersWrath (WW) and TrueShot (TS) "share" timers with each other (they are "linked"). Examples follow:

> If you activate WW, you will see *BOTH* the WW and TS buttons go down. WW will run its course and then you will not be able to use EITHER ability until the WW recast timer expires (currently listed on Lucy as 2025).

> If you activate TS, you will see *BOTH* the TS and WW buttons go down. TS will run its course and then you will not be able to use EITHER ability until the TS recast timer expires (currently listed on Lucy as 4050).

This means that you CANNOT activate any combination of WW and TS in succession. It does not matter which one you activate first.

34 minutes isn't really long compared to most other ranger disciplines which are mostly around the 1 hour mark.

all skills?

if it says it boosts all skills, does that mean archery as well, making it a boost to TS (as well as being a meele enhancer).

My interpretation of your qustion was a little different. I thought you were asking that since WW says it works for 'all skills' (therefore melee And archery) then could it replace our need for TS altogether? I don't yet have WW so I'm not all too qualified to answer, but I will say that TS seems to double every arrow's damage, while WW (based on the info above) would make each arrow more likely to land and much more likely to critical when it did. I don't know exactly how crit damage is calculated - I have a hunch it randomly increases the damage of a normal hit by an extra 1%-100%. We'd have to see some parsed data to know which is the best DPS boost.

A couple things to bear in mind regardless:
1. You have half the wait between successive uses of WW than TS.
2. WW lasts half as long as TS.

TS and WW discs share the same timer so it is not possible. Alhough WW (warder's wrath) has a recast time of half that of TS (trueshot). I would note however that Hail of arrows spell is treated like a physical attack it en can do head shot and finishing blows with each of the hail arrows if the requirements to trigger such are present....so my thought is that it may be possible to have WW disc affect hail of arrows for the duration.

I have been unable to test this theory however, because I do not yet have WW disc yet, but once I do I'll will try to remember to come back here to update this thread...

TrueShot (TS) and WardersWrath (WW) share the SAME TIMER. You cannot use them together. Whichever Disc you pop first determines the timer so if you use TS, *both* TS and WW discs will be down for over an hour. If you use WW, *both* TS and WW discs will be down for over a half hour. It is this shared timer that makes WardersWrath so crappy.

I ONLY use WW if I am 100% certain I will not want TS in the next 40 minutes. Otherwise I never touch it because losing 30+ minutes of TS use without even getting to USE TS is unacceptable. Why SoE did this is beyond me. I guess Rangers were just too powerful in their eyes. (boggle)

Has anyone tried putting the Hail of Arrows scroll and/or the Warder's Wrath tome in their shared bank slot and then re-hailing the appropriate npc to see if one could get another copy of it?

Doubtful, considering both scrolls you learn the abilities from are no drop.

DON SPELL??
# Sep 18 2005 at 10:16 PM Rating: Decent
I believe this is a spell that is received through DoN progression. After you complete Tier 2 (kill Emoush) you get a new DoN lvl 69 spell, 2 AA points, 1 new AA, and some other stat stuff.
Since the first 4 spells are received with Runes, the new snare spell is purchased with DoN crystals, this is only my assumption about the last. Addtionally, here is a website about DoN progression and mentions the receipt of a new spell.

RE: DON SPELL??
# Sep 19 2005 at 9:08 AM Rating: Decent
This is not a DoN spell. This is actually a new discipline from Depths of Darkhollows considering that it takes 0 mana to cast and has a half hour reuse timer, not to mention the endurance hits for keeping the disc active. My only question is if it's on the same timer as trueshot...

EDIT: The spell you're thinking of for rangers is earthen shackles, which is another snare
