Most mobs in the game are not FR yes you can say doomfire but once you have this spell you won't be going there any way.
You know, this spell is resisted about as much as pyro was back when lvl 65 was lvl cap, possibly even less so quite complaining and i mean come on it's an easy 1k dot with crap focus. take a closer look befor you complain.

Resist ? This is a great spell when grouped with a mage or shaman or druid that is debuffing fire resist. We have a minor fire resist debuff. This spell is a huge mana waste if resisted, but its not like you get a bonus check in the mail for saving extra mana. Necros regen mana like no other, so use it already.
Are you serious? God I wish you weren't a necro. Ya think they would make a 1k per tick pretty much unresistable? So what if you get resisted... this is the trick, cast it again. If you are having trouble getting this spell to land, cast another type of dot, i.e. Dark Nightmare, pfft what a concept I know. Some peoples inbred children's sisters/wives.

damn necros have it easy.. atleast you HAVE resist checks. try making a mage bro. NONE of our spells (besides summoned only -100) have neg resists.
