after dec/06 patch this song is useless. after the patch chars can see themselves and group members that are invis regardless off see invis spell or gear. pvp is the only usefull situation
pets no longer get lost with invis, but I still see reason for this spell, bard invis over rides other invis such as druid, enc, etc. those invis spells can be better for a group in some cases, such as zoning into fear. If the bard zones in slow, the group is left not-invised when they zone in ahead of the bard, or for the brief time before the bard renews the song. When buff slots are pretty full and you already have run 3 group members might rather have see invis in velks rather than a run buff that could cause them to slip off ice ramps more

I suppose the only reason to use this one is if you don't want to be invis yourself. our invis song and 51 selo's both have invis/see invis, why would we waste a regent singing this one?
could it be for a group - so that you dont invis your group and loose their pets?

that to me seems like the only logical reason...Im not even gonna waste my time getting this spell gonna get it when I need to goto Sharl Val for something
