This spell will proc enough to spam you. I'm 76 and am getting 224 on each proc. I have seen it crit too, but I don't have DD crit AAs so it had to be a buff or disc from someone in the group. I was with a Warrior, Druid, Ranger, Wizard and Chanter. Any ideas on what abilities they have that might have caused it to crit?

Fierce Eye, 2.0, Auspice, 7th, Glyphs, Circle of Power clickies, DoN T4; among other things (spires etc), will cause you to crit without having any aa's. Some of them might require at least one rank of the relevant crit aa, but I know some of them (ie 7th vet) don't need a base percentage to work with.
I noticed with T4 DoN progression, a caster without any worn cleave will occasionally perform a melee crit (with 0% chance due to lack of cleave and not having access to Combat Fury). Now that I think about it, it may have been from chanter haste, but I used to buffblock that so probably wasn't.

ok, I can confirm that this CAN crit with Spell Casting Fury AAs. Also, Singing mastery Rank 4/4 boosted this spell from 224 to 303 each proc, very nice.

i havent seen this song resisted yet.
and when you have a group full of fast dual wielders.... its pretty nice.
and you dont really need katta's, cause most groups have at least one person that can give a dex buff, or most people dont know how to rely on their groups for their support they need, and go and buy buffs in pok.... this is a nice song anyways, no matter the way you look at it.

You hardly will ever proc your own wepons proc, it adds a proc that procs ALOT

Thats just the bard song on group. Resist check of the proc is Chromatic 100 which is great in most cases, but I see lots of resists in GoD+ content. Stick with Yelhuns and throw this in if ya dont need to be playin PoV or mana or somin...

That being said I have the baby version of this and it is also Unresistable. I don't care if the mob is level 1 or level 80 if a player procs this buff 400 damage is going to land(nothing has resisted Song of the Storm yet DoN 90 Crystal Version procs 75 dmg). Just sucks that none of the songs of this type stack or Katta would make this an incredible twist. AT 66 I just play OverCap Haste and Song of the Storm indoors(unless grouped with a Pet Affinity Caster).

Hate to burst your bubble, but
refers to the buff, not the strike proc. The proc is -100 chromatic.

This song is a part of the DoN progression. It is a result of the Calling Emoush Quest which is a 24 person raid event.
Hmm...grab a nice weapon with a good existing proc....aug it..then throw this up...max out weapon affinity then wipe that grin off your face when the aggro wipes your group lol

100 dmg proc, proc's very often. one bard and 5 rogues = a lots of procs :)
