i use humility on my pali a lot, when ever i end up getting 2 mobs on a pull i flip it on to mitigate dmg. the upgrade will be nice once i get it. also use in on creator missions when i first attack the named guy at the end. 25% off of 1k hits helps a bit, along with already having panoply of vie on.
Yes, this is our level 69 Defensive Disc (an upgrade to Guard of Humility which is level 61) and which has a damage cap of 10,000 hp instead of 6,000 hp.
It is attained by completing Tier 2 of DoN progression ... final fight being Killing Emoush and getting one of the 6 Glowing Stone Fragments he drops.

I'm not a paladin bt I have to keep em veritcal for a lot of the time, and a 25% damage reduction disc is something that pallies should have had LONG ago. 30 seconds ain't a lot but it is enough to take the edge of an unslowed named. Considering that it's a disc, and pallies aren't endurance dependant, this is a GREAT step in the right direction for knights.
OK, for this to give max benefit, you have to get hit with 40k of damage in 5 ticks. Anybody have any of what they were smoking?

Dont forget about those times that your healer bites the dust because the puller came to group with 2 mobs and didnt anounce it...
Well, one of the named in the PG (raid)trials one rounded my cleric, with a quad 4k+ hit. With 16k in one round, I'm pretty sure he could put out 40k in 30seconds easy.
thats sorta the whole point though isnt it? this (imho) is for that first 30 secs of a fight against a particularly tough mob when it is in the process of being slowed.. or, alternatively, for the END of a fight when you have a non-running hard mob down to 10% HP and your healer yells OOM, and you find yourself dropping when the mob is at 1 or 2% (coem on, you know its happened to you too)

Lot of talk about its usefulness on the PoN boards but a little info for those to lazy to look it up. This is on the same timer as the lvl 61 version as well as fearless and resistant. I never use fearless because I have the fear AA's and +10 to resists is pointless so by using this when it pops your not blocking anything important. You get the spell when you complete the task for the second DoN "AA" the 300 hp/mana/endurance. So for anyone 69+ or close its probably not worth spending the 120 points on the 61 version.
