What is the use of this crappy spell when I had innate inv vs undead at 65. o0o0o0o0o wow I can cast it on others big deal. Don't give us something useful SoE, god forbid.

It's useful if you need to get through undead at a fixed duration such as the Ruins of Illsian, Dreadspire Keep.

The use of this spell is that, unlike our level 1 Invis vs Undead, this spell has a set duration. Normal Invis vs Undead lasts a random amount of time from 0 to 10 minutes. This spell isn't ment to be cast on you. It's ment to be cast on your group.

Changed??

Having read the other posts in this forum I am wondering if this has been changed? Looking at Lucy this is not listed as Invis versus Undead.

How about a group IVU or even better a group fixed duration IVU. Clerics get group IVU at what 52? Always pissed me of that necros couldnt group IVU when clerics could. And when druids could group invis at 54 I think.

I have this

Got the spell. It is a targetable 10 min fixed duration Invis vs Undead only. Yes. You read it correctly. IVU targetable with 10 min fixed durationj.

ya think a necro could do better by 68 but guess not /boggle
Invisability???

OMG can I finally throw an invis on someone else besides myself?

You always could cast invisibility on others... ever since level 1: Inivisibility Versus Undead.

This spell is fixed duration Invis. To Undead, castable on others.

In general, necromancers are designed to be self-sufficient: self-only regular invis, self-only evac, self-only see invis. However, I believe the necromancer possesses a quite comprehensive suite of "affects-others" beneficial spells:

DMF
a line of heal spells
Auspice
Succussion of Shadows
Degeneration
Crippling Claudication
Rapacious/Covetous/Sedulous Subversion (twitch)
Mind Wrack (tell me you have never had others thank you for lighting off this bad boy on every mob being pulled... provided you're fighting mobs that have mana to be tapped)
Summon/Conjure Corpse
Convergence

And, with the diverse abilities that are possessed by a necromancer that greatly augments a group, not being able to cast regular invis on others is something that horks people off???? Gee, a class that cannot do everything. Go figure.

What's next? A rant that Sony won't give necros the ability to cast Gate on others?

Actually, the rant is that we have to pay 20k for a crappy invis to undead spell.

You know...there's this funny thing called "getting it yourself". Runes are not that hard to come by that you need to spend plat on buying a spell. Plenty of places drop the runes. Group up and go to them. For that matter there are a few places that a necro could solo and get some runes. All the info is here on Allakhazam's. You just have to do a little research.
