Tried this one tonight. Only had two shaman with BoN (and a third who I hope was embarrassed to be caught without it at level 70), and 15 folks, so it got crowded. :) I volunteered to try timing my feigns to see if that kept me off the hate list for the AE, but they put me in the DPS group and I didn't argue. :)

We wiped quickly the first time, I think one of the shammies just missed the cue completely. Regrouped and did better, but my group still died; shaman said we weren't staying close enough during the cures. We decided we needed more DPS (and more BoN shammies).

Someone said Divine Intervention type spells don't work against this, but we didn't try it so I don't know first-hand. They don't always work anyway, so you don't want to depend on them. Note that pets will fall over fast unless you have the Pet Affinity AA.

Antidote will remove this in one cast. 58 Cleric spell that removes 64 poison counters. I believe you have enough time to hit the entire group before it kills ya.

If the recast time & the casting timer was say 1/2 a second shorter, then this would work, or if the DoT delay was 5 seconds longer it would work. As it is now, someone is not gonna get the cure in time (I tried the antidote thing last night & lost a member of my party when the DoT timer hits. There just is not enough spell haste (worn / buff) for this to work.

Just my personal XP.

Pure Blood vs. Blood of Nadox
# Jan 22 2005 at 9:47 PM Rating: Decent
Cleric/Druid Pure Blood is a single target cast. Shaman's Blood of Nadox is a group spell. So IF you tried to do 2 BoN and patch with Pure Blood, you'd need 2 clerics/druids casting single target on each group member without fail while the shammy did BoNadox.

The more widely used approach is a shaman in each group essentially chain casting BoNadox every 45 seconds when the AE refreshes.
Instant Death

Clockwork Doom Triger = if you get to the end of the debuff time... instant death. Takes 3 casts of pureblood to cure it. Basically need 1 healer with cure for each person on the raid to kill the wench with this proc. There isn't enough time to cure more than one person.

Blood of Nadox is a shammy spell that removes 18 poison and disease counters per cast, and it's a group effect.
18 x 3 = 54
54 > 50

Casting time is 7.5 secs max (most casters have spell haste of some sort), so 22.5 secs of casting can beat the 30 sec timer on the effect... but you have to be on the ball.

So, with 3 casts of Blood of Nadox on your group, everyone in the group is cured.

Clerics also get the same spell (in essence) called Pure Blood. So, cleric casts theirs once between heals, and shammy casts twice... all cured.

Of course, for this to work, you'll need a cleric and shammy in each group =~)

The problem with the Pure Blood spell is that it is single cast only. BoN is group, but not Pure Blood. So for the whole group to get cured it would still have to be the shammy casting all 3 times.

Don't forget that druids get Pure Blood as well. It's the exact same effect as the cleric version.

something else that would help is resplendent cure 3:

http://allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=5862

That's level 6 of radiant cure, the AA that all wis casters can get.

The level 69 cleric group heal also removes poison counters, so a cleric with the AA could hit hotkey, then group heal and remove 46 poison counters. Then just about any spell that removes poison coutners could remove the last 4.
