How many runes do I need to turn in before I get this spell? Thanks.
Mjrdomo is correct , on my second minor muramite rune i recieved my child of wind .

Your second minor rune gets you this new pet. The first minor rune gets you all 6 of the summoned item spells.

VT gloves do effect this pet. Level 66, max crit of 183, and hits 9k regularly in groups with Pet Affinity.
This pet is a perfectly capable off-tank, and reduces mob dps a lot, just as air pets have always done.
Oh, and for grins, a non-ep mage can solo BoT named with pet tanking straight up : )

We had a couple minor and a lessor drop in RCoD other night. They drop off named in OOW and Instance zones. The mobs werent that hard either that one group cant handle.

RSS = Riftseekers Sanctum. It's a zone within MPG (Muramite Proving Grounds). You need to be level 69 to zone in.

There is a pet aug that drops in RSS that gives 'Minion of Darkness'. It's called: Sphere of Swirling Flame-Range slot. Drops common. We got 2 drops in 5 spawns and spawn rate was good.

Looked for the aug in Rift. No luck on finding what mob it drops off of Could ya maybe give the name? Would be Much Appreciated

It's Balancer Relik. He spawns in the Pyrilen Riftseeker camp. It's marked on the mapfiend maps which everyone should have by the time they're hunting in rss. Unfortunately, I believe he's wrong in saying that it's the common drop. I see 3-4 of the chain bracers drop off of Relik for every one of those orbs. Maybe I just have weird luck though.
However... As of writing the plat farmer for plat sellers have flooded the market with so many ebon/radiant crystals that they're going for less than 20pp each. At least on Drinal. You can get the same kind of pet focus in an aug from the DoN crystal merchants and if you buy crystals in the bazaar it'll only cost 5-7ish K. Again, at least on Drinal at time of writing. The only catch is that the aug is lvl 70 restricted. But you need to be 69+ to enter rss, and most rss groups won't even look at anyone under 70 anyway. So don't knock yourself out trying to get that orb from Relik unless you don't want or can't get that aug for whatever reason.

Does anyone know where one could find a new pet focus item/aug that doesnt require time or KT flagging? The summoners boon aug does NOT work on pets over 65 efficiantly fyi

The only thing between ldon and time atm is Minion of Darkness on the Gloves of Dark Summoning from Vex Thal.

this pet is amazing lol have seen him crit for 200+ and a lot with GoD pet aa's.. (had tanks saying wtf muhahaha) since increased dex air pet owns Child of Air pwns btw has a ton of hp around 6k or so can prob reach 8 or 9 fully buffed just in case tank in group goes down...look at Child or Earth lol 7k base hp imagine wat he can reach. Anyway pet level is white con to 65 unfocused and with Diamond its still 65 :( guess sony made a point that u need OoW aug or item to increase stats further..diamond adds a bit to damage but not alot oh and i used my minor muramite runes to get him

Yes. The runes are droppable, but the spells are no drop.

118 with minion of eternity. MS4 still appears to be a better pet although i havent parsed these 2 pets yet. However this pet being from a lvl 66 spell we need an OOW focus to maximise this pets potential. BTW, he's lvl 66 with this focus.

We can get spells from somes runes that drop of named in OoW, dont know what lvl they are or if they can be done with 1 group .

Well he better hit for more than 100 and some are speculating. GoD spell Monster summoning 4 hits for 102 with minion of time focus and is my preference of pets atm. This pet casts a 3 second stun and casts a self rune type spell that absorbs damage. The OOW air pet is gonna be a badass I bet!

All the 66+ spells (the good spells at least) will no doubt only be aquired on high level raids only the uber guilds can hope to win and a handful can be aquired with a fully elemental geared group. Sony has made it clear it doesn't wish to cater to the numerous high level casual players who don't have the time to raid every night or deal with the BS of raid guild politics. The uber guilds are who Sony favors...look at GoD and the numerous crap spells that came with it (maybe 1 spell worth getting per class *MS4* for mage's). With the level cap being raised to 70 and the numerous new zones to accomodate those already uber players the distiction between a casual player and raid player will be even clearer. There is nothing coming from Sony for the casual player. The already uber players will probably move to EQ2 since they are pumping out quantity and not quality and also since they've been playing so long and need a new scene *FFXIO* causing the break of numerous high level guilds and causing new guilds to raise that require backflagging for those looking to get into raiding who find it difficult now, causing an even larger gap as the remaining uber will join into guilds and a handful start new, lower-end guilds. Also many casual players will move to EQ2 since EQ is becoming pretty well raid exclusive. I'm not saying it's the downfall of EQ, far from it from the money machine standpoint just the downfall of EQ as the "fun" game it used to be when everyone stood an equal chance in the game, from casual player to raider. Wrong. Lesser, Minor and Regular runes all drop in Expiditions off named. A well balanced group of non-elemental players can do well here, heck I have 4 pieces of ornate & only 4 AA. Once you find the named spawns, travel back and forth between them killing PH's. So, to your point of 'only for uber', you're incorrect. In fact, many of the uber guild people are experiencing in the Expiditions to get thier runes too.

i bet he hits for 86-90 and has 1-2k more hit pts, maybe some higher base stats by 20pts. And a speical air attach of some kind?
