Consider the situation where a single mob needs to be killed, such as in the Qeynos mission. However, this single mob is surrounded by a lot of other mobs that have a reaction radius such that aggroing one of them will chain reaction aggro all the mobs in the building, and there are just too many for any ordinary party to handle.
Invis and go into a building. Target the mob. Go back outside to an area away from mobs and cast lull through the wall (generally, the lull line does not require that you see the mob...you can target with eye of zomm assist, for example, around corners). Re-lull as needed. Have a necro with sow cast on them run through the building, first hitting a mob with low level lifetap, and then following with the Necro Divine Aura. The mob he leads will aggro all the mobs in the area clearing it out.
The necro leads the mobs far away, and then when DA fades, he feigns.
Now the person who was lulling runs back inside and whacks the named, and leads it to a side area that has already been cleared. It is important that this area be out of the way of the pathing of the returning mobs.
The claim is that charisma affects the probability of aggroing when the lull is resisted. I use a bandolier to load my "charisma kit" when I lull, including the sixth anniversary gold coin and maybe an opal mug or two.
This spell will allow you to single pull a creature, once the surrounding creatures have been pacified.
When it does resist, there's a chance you will aggro the creature that you attempted to pacify. Along with the surrounding creatures, that aren't pacified.
Keep in mind, if you're pulling something that passes too close to a pacified creature, it will add.
