NOT A GoD SPELL......came out with PoP, although i am unsure what it drops off but it was around way before GoD.
THIS SPELL IS LAME AND YOU ALL KNOW IT. Who would work so hard for something so close to sun vortex, even if it was slightly better, bah verant once again the mages are left in the cold, it should have been a 2600 base fire nuke! Omens of war is coming and we need firepower if you aren't gonna let us heal our pets without a recast time like BSTs can. I spit on this spell, did you look at the other ones for the other classes? The cleric gets a 1300+ blast for 30 less mana! A cleric! Bah gimme a complete heal if you are gonna give them the nukes!

Luclin is a expansion to 60th level... that spell is 65, and its a GoD ancient spell so does not drop in Luclin, does in Gates of Discord, but dunno where, prolly bosses of GoD as no rune described here
yes luclin is 60 level expansion, but all the ancient spells drop there afaik

no, not all.....if it's above 60 it drops elsewhere...just like the OoW ancients

Sun Vortex's base damage is around 1550, after ID4, etc this one does outblast Sun Vortex.
I still am using Ornate armor, so I still use SunVort becuase of the mana reduction..

This and Sun Vortex have the EXACT same mana:dmg ratio. 1:3.924050632911392405, however this does have a tad more dps than Sun Vortex, as they have the same cast time, recast time, and fizzle time.

Ornate Gloves give 20% mana reduction on Sun Vortex only, while Naki's earring only give 15% reduction on this, and I believe MP4 items like water sprinkler are only 10% (might be wrong on that). For non-EP mages like myself, the 5% difference makes SUn Vortex more mana efficient. Still nice to have the spell for the day I'm able/fortunate enough to get time/GoD MP item to replace gloves, or earring when I need magic based spells like SolRo.
*snickers* doesn't sound any different from Sun Vortex's damage.
