Unless you're in a raiding guild. Forget it.
If you are high enough level to go get this spell with a couple of your friends, you don't need it.
If your guild is organized enough to be raiding Qvic, chances are (again) that you skipped this spell and are already on to better spells.
Generally speaking, a cleric's job in a group or raid is *mostly* not to nuke (barring those long nights kiting the Hive with wizzies lol).
Don't divert your critter's career to get this spell.

Ancient Chaos runes drop in a GoD zone called QVic. There is a boss mob there (Cynosure), protected by 4 other mobs (Arbitors). The Arbitors drop the Ancient Chaos Runes which you then turn in to Reyfin Malakwa in Abysmal Sea, for your class-specific spell.
they also drop off the zoo keeper ring. The first and only 2 times we have dont it they have droped

Blaz, you know there are a bunch of clerics who do solo i am one of them, ok i can't take down anything BoT powerful but hell in my spare time I can go kill noc's for silver keys in Quinmi, I'm glad this spell is availible but damn there is no way I am getting it, personally it would be welcome because I just got an earing of the moon dancer from the Lair trials, with a damage focus (easily 3k per crit with this). Not all clerics are totally group dependant, this would be useful in some places, but at the starting end of GoD only. As for the resist and casting time i agree with ya 100 percent there this is susposed to be Ancient, so does that mean ancient clerics could not rock booty? ><

yes i know clerics solo, i did it all the time before ldon came out. im saying any cleric able to even get this spell (which constitute going into zones where most groups need 2 clerics HEALING), this spell would collect dust for anything but killing greenies. why solo now when i can go into GoD zones where i get 4-6% AA a kill, 1 kill ever 1-2 minutes. the new heals were verry nice and much needed when mobs are hitting 1-2k in these zones. ANY cleric able to get this will never use it in an xp group, unless there are 3+ clerics and that is just bad grouping. i do vxed, tipt, ferubi, and the sewers quite a bit, and even with a 9k+ tank with over 200 aa, i still struggle to keep up with heals in the higher tier zones (this including FT15, C5, bard song, SD, and zealot). you can hardly CH in any of these zones, mana goes down fast. give me a 7.2k tank in BoT and i can melee all the time and mana never goes below 85% using nothing but SL just to give you an idea.
I agree. In certain zones I can nuke and melee with no mana problems. More dps is always good, however it seems like the Ancient spells should really be more class appropriate...something that kind of defines the class...something that people seek that class for. For clerics, the biggest things that we are known and wanted for are Heals, Rez and the Aegolism line. Nobody goes looking for a cleric when they want nuke support, nor should they. So, while I like providing extra dps, I would've much prefered a heal/aego/rez upgrade.

Exept Raid's time, i spend much time soloing or adventuring, and, this spell would be really nice :)
Playing a cleric to their 100% abilities is really fun, and cleric are fun melee with their hamer wich proc as crazy, plus their undead nuke and this nuke would just Rock !!!

Mmm lets see, it showed up after Feb 10th, its certainly new. Gates of Discord is new. could be a connection there.

The nuke is a turn in spell like PoP spells, I've seen holy light dropped off of named in the tipt and vxed trials, and heard rumors that holy elixir is from turning in a 2nd stone after you have recieved the nuke.
edit: nevermind me, its 4am and i'm not thinking clearly as to where i'm posting, dunno where the ancient spell if from.

actually, you got the spell "Order" from the first turn in. then they changed it to Holy Elixir. Not sure if you still receive both spells via turn ins, I got a Stone very early, got Order, then Holy Elixir with the second stone I achieved.
