This is the one that sucks hp not mana, the mana tap is mental horror
This is the upgrade to Mental Horror. This taps Mana not HP. this is also a clicky on the ORnate BP now, as it was changed some time ago. If you ask me, it's a bit easier to get an Ornate BP than it is to get a group and go get this. Chances are everyone else needs thier GoD spells as well so you'll be fighting it out with them. Save yourself the casting cost, the memorize time and get ornate BP for Clicky Black Shroud.

Because all the Really REallly Really nice gear from head to toe is undoable without a very good raid. Meaning even if you manage to get all the people to help, your still gonna die. Your other option is to take the scraps thats left, cause anything that comes from these zones is no drop. Now they are adding spells to the mix. Hope they dont ever have another best of the best contest, cause unless your in THAT category, then your a spectator.
Well apparently you haven't fought in the zones to get things such as this spell, these zones that these spells drop in are fairly easy

While I agree that these last two expansions were aimed too high, generally 55+ only content, I don't agree that they are totally unaccessible to 80% of the players. The vast majority of OoW content is not keyed and single groupable, so it's very accessible as long as you are 55+.
Most players eventually DO get to 55+. Everquest isn't rocket science; plenty of idiots out there have dinged 55.

This 90 point lifetap proc lasts for an hour. And any shadowknight that makes it thourgh the trials to get to this spell probably has a pile of AAs.
Can you see a SK being able to crit 960 heals for an hour? Maybe more with an ID4 item.
So the minimum it will hit for is 240 with SA3. You've got a 240pt lifetap capable of critting a 960+ point heal.
That beats the crap out of the 75pt dd they have now.

I agree with your post, I do not have the spell myself, but... 90 x 3 is 270, meaning...
Black Shroud = 90
Soul Abraision 3 = 270
Spell Casting Fury = 540
Theft of Life = 1080
Improved Damage and Improved Healing = no effect
Though I may be wrong... Highly doubting that I am...

Ok ID4/5 might not work on this but would a IH4/5 work on this?

I totally agree with you Shryn. Now take this into concideration. I have a 65 sk that uses a Mace of Dark Glory when i am tanking. That has a 180 point heal proc on it. the you can add the 75 point lifetap aug to it from LDoN. Then ask your chanter for NDT which has a 35 point lifetap on it. All of this will make your cleric VERY happy =).
with sa3 nights dark terror hits for 105/ex heals for 210, can crit for 210/ex for 420 with scf. mental horror for me w/sa3/scf3 hits for 270/crits for 540 so guessing this is about the same.

ID4 affects the duration of the spell that adds the proc.... this proc is instant but the spell that adds it can be increased by at least 12 minutes with the right items.
ID = Improved Damage, which does not effect this spell.
EE = Extended Enhancement, which will increase the duration of the spell.
There are also some higher level foci with cooler names... but there are no foci that effect the damage of this proc.

So the 4 spells listed below the Cloak of Luclin spell when you do a spell search aren't listed as possible spells on the PoP spell quest list. Are all 4 of them test server only? That would include this one, "Black Shroud". Thanx for any responses. Also how much should one expect to pay for MQ's of Glyphe runed wards?

Black Shroud is the SK quest turn in reward spell. You will need Kod'Taz access to get the spell item-- this means completion of the first 6 trials in GoD: 1-4 sewers or alternate raid event, then Vxed and Tipt trials.
Taelosian Geomancy Stones are dropped from named in Kod'Taz. These are the GoD spell/combat ability turn in items-- every class gets one specific spell or melee tome from turning these in. Both the stones and the spells/tomes are no-drop.
The turn in NPC is Reyfin Malakwa. Can be found in the Abysmal Sea located at 220 270 .
