I tried doing the subcombines in the spell research kit, it says cannot be done in this type of container. I can't find what kind of container is supposed to be used. Can anyone help?

Combine the following in your spell research kit.

* Ink additive of the nameless
* Runic Parchment
* Quill of the Archon
* Ameliorating Thickener
* Ink of Tunare

SL/HM vs: SR

I do use Supernal Light when appropriate - indeed, I've used that as my main heal spell in LDoN when there's non-stop pulling (of course, being buffed with VoQ and any other mana reneration effects helps).

It does help to have Blessing of Reverence when using this spell. SL is more mana efficient than SR. Yes, I also have SR memorized.

As for Holy Light, it's a decent upgrade to SL. Too bad I won't see it for a while, as I'm not ready for
Very helpfull

I don't use Supernal Light, so I doubt I'll use this one either. Too much mana compared to basic supernal remedy +aa and equip augs. slow cast too. get to fill spell book else save the 60kpp it'll be going for for awhile haha

maybe one should think more about what they post...
i was in tipt today and the mobs there hit for 900-1300 on a 65 war with over 500 aa
the named was hitting for 2k wile war was defensive and the others in the group got hit for over 3500, now..... assuming that most who try this trial will be ele/time equipped that means that they will most likely have mars blessing or better ( +20% to heals)and the aa another 10% so this spell now heals 4000 hp, try and get by in some of the later GoD zones with out it and your dreaming

This is a No Drop spell that can only be looted in GoD. No need to bother saving money for it. Good luck to the clerics in search of it, I know my enchanter would love to be able to have a nice little CH for when I've managed to survive the beating that took me low enough to need the 3k hits this spell gives.

Anyone know what the spell cast time would be with the spell haste blessing and spell haste 4 items? Seems to me like the 3.75 sec casting time is a little harsh for a level 65 spell. But then again, I haven't seen it in play yet. Might be just fine.

Maatogaeoth, now a level 63 Ench. :)

All tricked out with cleric spell haste buff and hammer from Primals, this spell casts in 2.3 seconds.

#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 24 2004 at 9:26 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You don't use Supernal Light and you are level 64-65 with comparable level tanks = you are either not a cleric and dunno wtf you're talking about, or you're a moron and dunno wtf you're talking about.

As obnoxious as this guy is, he's not totally wrong. You really should rethink using Supernal Light.

Supernal Remedy is not nearly as mana efficient as Supernal Light.

Supernal Remedy has lower healing per second than Supernal Light if you are going to chain cast and the fact that spell haste works on Supernal Light but not on Supernal Remedy means that you get even better healing per second with Supernal Light.

The only think supernal remedy is really useful for anymore is healing casters that are starting to take a beating (or if you really biffed it and your tank is under 20% when you realize you forgot to heal). The quick cast time allows you to actually get a heal off IF you have lightning fast reflexes (of course you would use your Supernal Elixir on your casters if time was not of the essence). That and the fact that the range on Supernal Remedy is longer than any other heal. Keep them both up, you will thank yourself when things get hairy.

If you miss a heal on a tank, supernal remedy is barely going to be able to keep up with DPS in many cases (Hard LDON or GoD), you really need supernal light to get back on track.

If you are raiding a mob where you have to use fastheals, you get better mana efficiency and better healing per second with suprnal light and to be totally honest, your tank is more likely to run out of Hit Points than your healing crew running out of mana.

In a raid scenario I normally have 5 heals memmed. Supernal Elixir, Ethereal Elixir, Supernal Remedy, Supernal Light and Complete Heal.

Took your advice and retried Supernal Light since I've been raiding more. In the end i swapped out supernal exlixer for it (space concerns). I'm not thrilled with it but /shrugs now I've added the Rainment of the Fireson it does heal quite a bit even if not as efficiently as a CH or fast as a Supernal Remedy.
The biggest draw back to both these spells is the staggering mana cost. I only have a 4200 mana pool and pouring mana into a heal tends to cause down time. But I do notice that much more than in a CH rotation our junior clerics run out of mana VERY quickly.
It earned a slot but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to get a new spell along these lines I just don't use them often enough.
