This spell is utterly useless. SoE upgraded it to cost slightly less mana and heal slightly more, while casting faster than Chloroblast. It used to heal around 600 and cost more mana, while casting the same time. The problem is: the spell is still totally worthless. The Chloroblast was always easier to get, the casting time is only 1 second longer, and from what I've read about Chloroblast; heal crits land slightly more on it than this spell. So, with that being said: Just wait 2 levels and pick up your 67 heal, which heals 200 hp more. Much more efficient spell, much more worth the time than this atrocity.

I just recently leveled my BST to 65. When it came time to get new spells i did notice a difference with this one, when compared to the in game spell. Trushar's Mending is now a heal spell doing between 1048 and 1048 hit points. The mana cost is down to 330. Sony had changed it in a recent patch. Otherwise it would be worthless. Chloroplast will heal 1044 hit points for 331 mana. With a slighty less cast time for Trushar's at 3.0 and Chloroblast at 3.75.

I was viewing the raw spell data for this spell. Could someone tell me what the
"hateamount" means? Is that only for spells/abilities that increase aggro, like "Pique"? Or does it mean that this spell generates no aggro?
If it means that you can heal for up to 1k without gaining aggro, then this spell's is worth it. If NOT, then this spell is as useless as everyone says. There's GOT to be a reason for this spell, neh? If someone could respond, that'd be awesome.

Sorry it's so late in coming, but here's AN answer:

It's not how much hate (spells with hateamount 0 still generate aggro). I think it's either bonus hate or a fixed hate amount (instead of what's normally generated from that particular spell). In any case, raw hate (the kind you see in the spell description) is under (edit: raw hate is listed under a baseX where X = the number in the spell description. For example, if it says 2. Increase hate by 570, then base2 will have 570 showing). How much hate is generated by a spell is determined by what the spell does and how well it does it. Hateamount either adds to it, or is the value used in place of base hate (likely the former).

This spell heals 500hp for 370 mana. Chloroblast is a lower level spell and heals over 1k hps for 331 mana. Buying this spell is nothing but a huge waste of money, questing for it is nothing but a huge waste of time.

SoE CHANGE THIS SPELL - ITS USELESS - CHANGE IT.

When you turn in the GoD Jelki Stone you get Spell:Turepta Spirit which when scribed into your spellbook becomes Trushar's Mending.

Essentially what happened is that in the BST discussion forums at eqlive the complaint was that while Turepta Spirit (which was the group form of IoS) was a useful spell, the level at which you were likely to obtain it made it largely redundant. So SOE interpreted that to mean that BST's didn't want group IoS so they changed it to the healing spell (Trushar's Mending) which is equally redundant since you are likely to have the better OoW heal long before you will get this one.

I think the best part is this is the group version. Not everyone has max stats but maybe close. Its not bad for group version if you have some people that dont need to sit heal med routine and want to swing a couple licks in.

By the time you can get this spell all your stats should be maxed anyhow rendering it useless to you. However, for those of use that are not time gear equipped it would be a really nice addition. Its like they made this spell no drop just to **** ppl off. Hopefully they will change the No Drop part of this spell in one of the patches.

I think the reason they made these new spells no drop was so that people don't go farm the spells they don't even need, just to sell them in the bazaar for 30-50k pp. Make it no drop, and poof, no one's farming all of the drops away from the people who need it.

Whats the point of whining about it? Last time i checked, 50 str, 45 sta, and 55 dex is very useful. How about instead of complaining that some people might not need the spell, you stop being an idiot? How about if u don't want the spell, you just don't get it, and stop trying to make people dislike it?

Geomancy Stones (turnin items to get this spell) are dropped in Kod`Taz and above. This is a time level zone. By the time you can actually get this spell, it will be essentially worthless to you unless you enjoy enduring lots of pickup groups in which you have like 2k more hp's than the "tank". The only way I'll ever take a geomancy stone to get this spell is if it's going to otherwise rot.

that's what pisses me off about this spell. It's a great spell, but for the people who can get it, its pretty much worthless. Those of us who cannot get it would really like to have it. I can understand making the turn in item no drop, but the spell itself shouldn't be no drop too. IMO this is the most worthless spell for beastlords because of the fact that if you can get it, you really won't use it much if ever really.

I just got GoD and didn't get a chance to play this weekend. Can anyone tell me how you get your 65 spells? Is it like LoDN - to where you need to build up favor points to purchase the spells? Any info would be kewl.

Half the mana, 1.5 cast time, hard to resist (-30 mr check)IMO a very nice spell, esp for the good exp groups where mobs die very fast anyways, and on bigger mobs, a nice pre slow that will not get many resists.

This is a proposed GoD spell. you will see it when GoD comes out probly on adventure merchants in the new zones.
