WTF does this spell do can you see in the dark with it. made a frog and they have ultravision all the time. dont think it helps to much in the dark cause it gets pretty dark with a frog rather then a high elf i have that when the sun goes down it makes do difference. just wondering thanks

High Elves, Wood Elves, and Half Elves have Infravision. Dark Elves, Gnomes, and Dwarves have Ultravision. Humans, Barbarians, and Erudites are night blind. It sounds like Frogloks are night blind from what you've said. I'm not sure about Iksar or Vah Shir.

Infravision has a reddish cast and helps you see some at night, especially players and MoBs. However my half-elf would get lost int he tunnel to Surefall Glade, because he could only see himself or people who ran by, not the walls.

Ultravision has a purplish cast and helps you see MUCH better, you can see walls and things.

Erduties/Barbs/Humans are night blind
DEs/Frogs have ultra vision
Everything else has infravision

Infravision partaily removes "light fog" and tints the screen red to make it easier to see moving things

Ultra vision tints the screen purple and removes the light fog all together.

No. See invis is a separate ability.

Infravision = allows you to see light in the infa red range of the spectrum (which should explain the reddish tint.)

Ultravision = allows you to see light in the ultra violet range of the spectrum (which explains the violet tint.)

ifravision as it was used in D&D and I believe EQ means they see variations in heat..thus the red tint

ultra is similiar to "nightvision" as we know it today
Beastlord Version?

Anyone know where the beastlord version is? It won't let you scribe the Enchanter one. I have looked and looked and can't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok finally found the Beastlord version. It can only be purchased in Oasis from the gypsies. I was hunting crocs with my druid and I just stopped by to see if it was the one for Beastlords and sure enough it was. Only place that I have found it. Hope this helps someone.
