As a ranger I rarely want hate, but occasionally do find myself with a need for agro.
I don't know how much hate is a lot or little though. So how does this compare to casting ensnare, or a copper hammer proc?

If you want aggro just mem your low level Flame Lick spell. I am pretty sure fast casting and mobs still hate it.
I am a warrior but did an adventure with a Ranger that could hold his own and we actually fought each other for aggro. I think he was trying to prove that he could tank and I was just playing with him to taunt it back :)
