a kick in the head.
my warrior uses the bloodguard wand and procs very often, highest count 12 with Dex of 162, and rarely fails to proc at all.

besides for the obvious affect u do gain a small amount of agro from self buffing during fight

This is a proc that will randomly go off during melee. The effect will absorb 5% of all incoming melee up to 100 points for as long as the spell lasts. According to the above info, the spell at level 1 will last for 3 minutes and at level 2 will last 5 minutes, but for some reason it seems a bit odd. I'm about to purchase one of these so I will post a follow up as to how long it lasts.
