I cannot get this spell to work. It's not a real big deal but just kinda annoying.
I use a similar spell- Upheaval, and since they're player based area effect, the mob(s) have to be right on top of you to be hit by the spell. Not bad for farming greenies, also helps if you have someone else kite them over you as you cast, so you don't get interuppted.

i also have used the upheaval line. seems to me this spell works against all mobs that consider the caster the primary target. e.g if you have a tank with a load of mobs on him/her and you cast this, it wont do much im afraid.
However if you are quading and over pull, this is your cure.

This spell is also sold by Alice Sweetoven in the clerics guild in Rivervale.
This is an AOE spell that you have to be close to the mobs to hit them. Can hit several mobs at once.
