its good until 65+. during a WoS fight with minimal DPS in the group, this spell lasts one fight or less. granted, its great for pulls, as mobs in OoW really like running full speed into a player and getting 3 hits off in a row, but its just not as effective as groups of pre-65s, as then it lasts much longer. normally i keep this memmed with a nuke and yaulp and refresh as needed.

1) Convince five friends to do a billion LDoN missions with you until you earn the points to buy them.

By the way, each Vie spell is at a DIFFERENT dungeon camp, so don't think you can do the same missions over and over and make your points.


2) Get a decent researcher to make this for you.

After reading some posts here - think there is some wishful thinking:

I read the spell statement - assorbs 10% of melee damage inflicted up to 1200 hp then disperses or time runs out . . .

If you are cursed - slowed, tashed, etc then it most likely will not do anything to stop that or block anthing magical coming at you other than melee damage. My guess is some folks are just wishful thinking.

This does not work on spell damage. Protection from Spell damage (20%, up to xxx hit points) is available in another line of spells for enchanters:

Okay I have and use the Guard Of Vie Spell. It is a nice spell and does indeed absorb 10% of every hit. it is a percentage that is taken off before it dispells. Try casting it on yourself and then use a mod rod and you will see that you only take 405 damage from a 450 damage mod rod.

I assume then that this spell works the same way.
I just don't have the points to get it yet.

From what I have read it appears to be a mini rune of some sort.....can be cast on anyone. What I have heard is does it absorbs 10% of melee damage for whoever has buff, and it lasts until a certain amount has been absorbed. I heard the lvl 44 one absorbs 700 or so. That means mobs that hit for 250 will hit for 225 for as long as the buff lasts. I am not positive though, just what I have researched...

It's a LDoN spell. Not sure what it does yet, though; wondering if it might be a resist curse shielding. With the inclusion of new minor cure curse spells, I'm guessing curses will be showing up with some frequency.
