Finally they make this spell. I'm a Jewel Maker (and so is my Warrior) so I needed this spell earlier...too bad its too expensive for a level 9 chanter to pick up easier and since they nerfed Plague Rat Tails it will be hard to get the money required.

I just wanted to say nice job for the mass enchant/imbue spell line. It is a time and mana saver from what few spells I have looked at.

Being No Drop, well. I can see why. And the comment about the druid buying them, well, we all have made mistakes before. Some more costly than others. Just like is Real Life. :) The question is did you learn from your mistake. I know I have.

There are some things I don't like about EQ just like everyone. But you have to remember, Sony can't please everyone. I would like to see them add recipes for the trade skills that makes it so you have make mass amounts of stuff. EX: Making metal peices. They are a core item of some smithing stuff and triv at a low level. Add to the EQ code so that you can put a stack of eack item and the server run the recipe 20 times and gives back the result.

Just my two cents worth.
yes 5 at a time

Yes it allows you to enchant 5 bars at a time. I hear that there is one that you can get from adventuring for LDoN that allows 20 at a time, like the MGB spells

Dreagan 52 troll war
Mellah 34 HE chanter
Dontlick 14 frg cleric
The question remains...

What is the difference (other than no drop) between imbue & imbue mass? Does that mean you can imbue more than 1 at a time? Please respond b/c I think I missed something...Smiley: banghead

So what exactly do these mass spells do? allow you to enchant 5 things at a time? 10 maybe? If so then this would be a great time saver. so what if they're no drop, it just means someone's gonna have to get off thier duffs and leave their camps to get em. In qeynos? get a port.

Just found out, they enchant five items at a time (at least for the silver bars).

The Mass spells can be bought in the East Commons tunnel from Tallik Jaggedfire and Palik Agrolm. They are a hair shy of 84pp a piece with the best charisma (83pp 9g and some change).

Be aware that they ARE no drop items.

=)
Choose Carefully! NO DROP!

Be Careful when buying that you are buying for the character who is going to scribe it. These new spells are NO DROP. I had my druid who was here to pick up mass imbue emerald buy a few for my chanter and then to my disgust discovered they could not be transfered.

This is REALLY stupid to make them no drop - it serves no purpose. It's not like they are for a new expansion that Sony wants to restrict access to them to the expansion holders only. All it does is make every character who wants them have to make the trip to EC tunnel.

Booooooo Sony

Have now had a conversation with a GM - According to him/her the No Drop is a purposeful design feature! Again it serves absolutely no purpose other than frustration, wasted time and potential loss for buying the wrong spell as you can't transfer or sell it back!

Double BOOOOO! Sony!

The purpose for No Drop in EQ there JR. is because on servers which are PVP and item's can be stolen, it is essential that certain things stay unobstructed by PVP rules. In addition, the NO DROP status will always force a player to actually achieve the items themselves or with aid from others players, hence the term interactive role playing adventure. If everything were buy and tradable the entire integrity of the game would be lost to individuals who whould cheat the game and trivialize the very point of adventuring and working with others to a rediculous, 1 dimensional, platnium hordeing, borefest. A game is not fun unless it poses a challenge. If your up not to learning about how to work with others and participate in the overall game play your wasting your time with EQ and should go fire up the Nintendo grasshopper. I agree, I hope they do pull your posting rights your insulting to the rest of us who truely appreciate this game.

EQEsq had a valid rant here Lundaein. You quoted him out of context and then called him a STUPID F***. IMHO you should have your posting priviledges revoked for being so ignorant and disrepectful.
