Haste max percentage out of date

Not sure how long Quickness has been affected for but the percentage does not come close to 50% by level 21 anymore. As soon as I got the spell on my level 26 shaman alt, I fired this up on my tank merc and it was 30%. I assumed the max level for receiving 50% haste was bumped so I jumped on my level 76 enchanter to verify and it is still 30%. Please update.

All of the haste spells are parsed out using a ranged formula on our spell parser. The end result is incorrect and is a known bug that I intend to fix. Thanks for the report though.

Works nice with languid pace
# Oct 02 2004 at 11:32 AM Rating: Default
Enchanters getting this should use this on their pets (or group members) while using languid pace on their opponents. Very good combo. Combined with the weaken and enfeeblement series this will totally wreak havoc on most enemies.

Yes. Spell haste will stack with worn haste.

Since times are changing i better update this..

This is a tip is to all you Shamans out there and your the the main haster in a group and have problems timing the recaste time on the haste.

1. Make sure You get a level 34 spell called "Companion Spirit" before you attempt this.

2. Make sure you practiced Conj well enough and can able to summon your pet with out much mana loss. If you keep getting fizzles then try summoning breads and flasks while lfg or in a med break since it won't take much mana.

3. Summon your pet, then cast haste buff onto your pet first or at least the first 4 buff windows on your pet bar, then recast haste on the melees and/or other pet(s)in your group.

What happens now is that it will give you a timer in your pet bar, Just move mouse cursor on it to see the remaining time and when it dies it give you an message "Your pet's Quickness has worn off" or something simular or the picture on pet bar will fade.

When the haste buff dies you will be first to know about it and this will save you alot of time and hassle to ask Melees to tell you if the haste has died.

Now you just repeat the buffs cycle which is, pet first, Melees second, (and if you want to)group member's pets last.

This is good since your not wasting mana since you're helping your pet attack speed and the also melees can focus on the battle instead of checking the spell bar.

Enchanters can also do this earlier then shamans at level 16.

Cast all buffs on yourself before anyone. your group will love you since you can start refreshing (or at least announce that you know buffs are dropping and will refresh as mana permits) as soon as you see yours begin to blink. It takes a little extra mana, but most buffs are long term and the extra haste isn't enough mana to worry about.

This will allow you to monitor all buffs and not have to watch for the wear off message through the battle spam.

Note: if low on mana when refreshing haste mid-battle, do not cast on self. cast on tanks, then med up and refresh all around starting with yourself to reset your timer.
