from what i have heard and read, cleave and ferocity Do Not affect crits for ranged weapons such as bows.
only close range weapons. I'd like confirmation on this myself, as I only received mixed answers but 1 ranger told me that parses he has seen show that they do not help crits for bows. Also the in game description for the effect reads "..increasing the chance of scoring a critical hit with a melee weapon

your right according to the lucy info on cleave stacking. there are the 11 slots for crit %, the cleave line goes in each slot, so it would evidently override any lower cleave all together. but ther are other disciplines or spells that add crit percentage only to 1 or more slots increasing only those slots higher than the cleave %.

Cleave is like haste, only the highest counts.

is there proof that they don't stack, and that only the highest cleave works? where does SOE say that, or has someone parsed it and found no effect for multiple cleaves?

Its common knowledge, Cleave is a Focus Effect, Focus Effects do not Stack. you can also check Lucy for stacking if you want the raw data.

not quite sure if this is right but i believe that cleave stacks the same way as mana regen does. Again not sure if that is true, but if it isn't it should be stackable. it would make much more sense for this to be stackable seeing as most of the items that have cleave only have cleave 1 or 2 on them.
Does this stack

J/C Does this stack? If I have 2 items with Cleave 1 does it mean I have Cleave 2 or is the second item useless as a Cleave effect?
Shaman Criticals

What's really nice about this is as a shaman, it allows me to critical hit now. Heh I know it's not much in the grand scheme of the game, but its definitely fun.
