I have a lvl 18 chanter I was lvling in South Ro. Temp on with about 1300 hp. All of a sudden I'm knocked unconcious and the message comes up "a black plague assaults your body" No information as to who cast it or where it came from. Is there a weapon that procs this? Doesn't make sense that the mob that casts this would be in South Ro. Any info?

Can last much, much longer than 7 ticks, as the spell description suggests. Perhaps it's been changed. Got hit by it the other day in PoT, took me a while to figure out it was disease based, almost died to it in the time it took me to look it up here on allakhazam. Had something like 250 minutes left at the time.

Lasts somewhere around 7 ticks, not indefinate, as I survived a wipe after fading with 7400hp buffed
