if it makes you Feign death.. For One Woulndt that help you? And two can't you just stand up?
I haven't fought him myself, but I suspect he casts this on the character with highest agro (ie the raid's tank). As the main tank needs to keep agro, this one spell can effectively wipe you.
And yes if it was just a Feign Death then they could stand up (with agro possibly cleared from the FD). However there's a 30 second stun on this, so that's not an option.
