I play on RZ. The spell exists. As well it is best done at the same time as the ring quest "Ring of Grisk" Its effect is aura of health, its no drop and has other nice stats too. For the spell just as eariler stated hunt the luggalds. I hunted the ones inside the rooms and collect 3 flesh for the ring quest and 4 hearts for the spell quest. I have yet to collect my 4th heart but having 3 of them I assure you they do drop. keep hunting youll get yours. :) Good luck

You need 12 hearts, not 4. For every 4 hearts you give her, she gives you one ice shard. 4 shards = Frozen Harpoon

The heart drops from luggalds in Nadox. 3 rotted while I was hunting there yesterday.

I have heard the usual rumors that hearts can be dropped from ANY luggards but I suspect that these are indeed just rumors. I have yet to see or hear of a confirmed drop from any of the lower level lugs in Gunthark or Dulak. Usually you hear the "well my friend's cousin's guildmate told me that her nephew's girlfriend's sister got one in Gunthak" ;)

Should probably assume that you must travel to Nadox to complete this quest. Perhaps Torrigan's Mines might work and/or Hate's Fury.
the quest for this spell

The Quest for this spell starts near the lighthouse of Gunthak. Find the erudite in a hut, wearing green robes (forgot to write his name down). Talk to him. He will tell you about the Luggald and there magic. At one point the conversation ends, with no words in brackets. At this point, say "I am brave enough". You get a four slot pouch and he tells you to look in the water for creatures the luggalds use their magic against for more evidence.

In the harbor, underwater is a mermaid in a shipwreck, named Aliaka Songscale. She is at location pos 330, neg 573. Hail her and talk to her. She tells you about the cruel Luggalds, and shows you the chuncks of dark ice in her scales. She then asks what it is you want from her. Tell her you want the dark ice.

She then says only if you do a task for her.

She will give you one chunk of ice for each Luggald heart you bring her. I'm assuming that you need four total, since you get a four slot pouch.

At this time, i've hunted several lower Luggalds, but nothing, so I'm moving on to harder ones.
