Can someone tell if they have allowed lvl 44s to be able to get this spell?

is the scroll dropable or is it no drop because my bard has the powder
All of the LoY spell quests result in No Drop spells.
This is indeed nodrop. Got my "A strange dark powder" off a Broken Skull Bruiser tonight. Was just checking out zone for drops and this caught my attention. It lists as Magic Item and No Drop. It also lists class as BST and race as ALL. Just give him this and you get your Spell: Malaria which is also No Drop.

Can someone tell me how to go to turgiran mine, is this zone communicate with Gunthak? Which way i must take to go there?

Foxmint gives very good directions to the Mine entrance of Torigran, but there is another entrance to Torigran Mines and I thought I would give directions to it as well.
Succor/Evac inside of Crypt of Nadox drops you in front of the Torigran Mines zone. If you don't have succor... follow the directions below.
If you are at the lava bridge its directly east and up the stairs through the lift and out of the chapel area. Just run straight out of the chapel past the shrine bruisers and you will zone into Torigran Mines.

To get to Torgiran Mines, the way I take is through Gulf of Gunthak, to Dulak's Harbor, then to Torgiran Mines.
In the Gulf of Gunthak, head south from the Lighthouse til you reach the beach. Have an invis up, and be careful because there are undead mob here and there which will see through invis. At the back of the beach area on the right hand side (when facing beach) is the cave entrance. Follow through this tunnel, don't take any left turns, stick to the right. Once again, there are occasionally undead in here, so be on the lookout. If you keep to the right, you'll come to a clearing with a town... now keep to the left, ignoring the first turnoff (which heads uphill to a castle entrance) and taking the second left turn. This will zone you into Dulak's Harbor.
Once in Dulak's Harbor, keep your invis up still, and head straight out from zoneline (east). You'll pass through an open courtyard, and see a huge walled enclosure with an entrance on the south side. Enter here... it's filled with trolls and iksar workers. There's a ladder you must climb on the east side of inner wall..climb up and head north to the Torgiran Mines zoneline.
I haven't gone too far in with my 54 beastlord, but everything I've met so far cons dark blue, and is pretty tough. Bring some friends along to help fight. The miners don't wander but the troll bruisers do. Also note that the trolls occasionally drop keys... you can give these keys to the Resistance Miners to free them... I'm still not sure what this accomplishes... no faction gained by doing this, but you get experience for it.

done it with 62 war 58 druid, easy but long to drop btw like 30 45 min, like 15 troll to kill.

I read that bond of wild was the first spell to be give in quest. Now it is malaria the first and black powder must be returned to quest giver before getting injured wolf quest

Ok, You start off talking to Caegin Coltong ( Barbarian near light house). You say "What cave" and he'll talk about the black powder. Goto Torgiran Mines and kill broken Skull Bruiser's they drop a item called "Strange black power" , this is the item Craegin seeks . I got it in like 3 or 4 kills of the bruiser's , was really easy . then take that power back to Craegin and get your 44 spell . Enjoy !

What level did you do this at? If you need to be level 50+ to get a level 44 spell, that's stupid. I guess they want us to group. I just want my spell, I don't want to negotiate with people who don't neccessarily want to hunt the same thing. Oh well, it's part of the game. It just seems like it should be the injured wolf quest for the lower level Malaria spell. It's like they got it backwards.

Umm... Either you don't play a beastlord or are too busy uber leveling to realize that our disease dots stack with our poison dots, henceforth this spell is actually an upgrade to the extremely low level disease spell that none of us ever use. I, however use it, because it stacks. Combine malaria with EB, and you got yourself a good amount of DoT on a mob.

Well its my opinion that whomever implemented the beastlord spell quests has screwed up. I don't think it is intentional that you get the level 52 spell first, but rather a case of human error. It seems that Craegin's rewards have simply been swapped, which I am sure is an easy thing to get wrong. This should have been picked up however if the quest was actually tested properly, which it seems it has not. Or I guess it could just be that SOE likes to tease all the level 44 Beastlords with a spell they can't get easily until another 6 or so levels later. Then to add insult to injury give them a spell at 44 that they can't use for another 8 levels. No sense in that from my point of view, so I'm putting my money on a ***** up.

I sent the GMs some /feedback regarding this issue (do they even bother reading those?). Even though the two spells are actually available, I would ask any beastlord to help out and send them some /feedback as well, even if you're high enough level to get both of these, it would be nice for other beasties to get the level 44 spell before they are level 50.

If you ask him about what he is drawing, he goes on about black powder found in the caves.
Now, if I recall correctly lotus seeds are black and there are a bunch of lotus plant mobs in the caves. Maybe the powder is a rare drop off one of them or off a special spawn.
This is a theory BTW, not proved in any way and may be completely wrong !
My other theory is that he randomly gives you one of the two spells - I thought the warder quest was a little easy for a level 52 quest - more like the 44 one.

Huh? He doesn't say anything about black powder. Not to me, anyway.
[EDIT] Nevermind. It doesn't bracket the part about the CAVE SYSTEM. You have to ask that to get him to tell you the part about the powder.

This spell is Decrease Hitpoints by 45 per Tick for 9 ticks. It is Quested. Go to Gunthak and find Quest Giver Caegin Coldtongue outside one of the Huts around the Lighthouse. Hail him and follow the process.

The only problem is that if you go to Craegin Coldtongue and go through his quest you get Bond of the Wild as a reward. At the moment there seems no way to continue with his quest to get Malaria.

This is another bogus input from someone trying to be humorous. This spell is an upgrade to the level 39 spell? For only 60 more damage yeah, right! Look at the level 30 spell thats suppose to be a shrink of 34% and a 550dd and 5sec stun. Ha ha, Im laughing now

Most likely a typo. Since this is a spell that seems to have shown up when PoP opened, someone will catch it and change it. This IS a nice upgrade from the 39th DoT. Just hope I can find it in the usual DoT spell spots.

Increase disease counter by 3 and >INCREASE< hp? Is this a mistake? Supposed to be a detrimental spell.
Yes, it is wrong. It actually says "Decrease Hitpoints by 30 per tick" but since you think it says "increase" it must certainly be wrong.
