where to get organs
# Jul 07 2008 at 2:37 AM Rating: Decent
Just thought i would share my knowledge on this matter, having hunted these for both necro and shadowknight.
The best place to get organs is on the 3 way bridge and if you fight a few mobs down the right hand tunnel, you may even get a soulstripper to sell on making it very worth your time to try =).
Does it worth it?

Hmm... The spell doesn't worth the time needed to get it IMHO. 30HP per tick for 6 ticks? Come on, its only 180HP total. Or maybe I miss something here?

You're pretty much right, this spell is under powered... however, it does have a very nice resist check (-50 posion!) and is fairly fast casting and working. If you know the mob's going to last the duration of this spell, it's definately worth it to cast over our other ones at this level for damage.

Being as I have yet to purchase LoY, I am curious if the organs are no drop...?
# Apr 29 2003 at 4:47 PM Rating: Decent
I can confirm what Vorish said, except the time it took. heh. Took me about 2 and half hours to get 2 organs to drop hunting in the first cavern before the bridge.

Got some nice gems, 2 fire emeralds, 2 mithril peices, a saphire, and another gem(?). Daggers sold for 3pp, and so did the claws, which are stackable(60pp). Tridents sold for 4pp each. They rarely dropped research items.

We must have killed the room and hall 5 or 6 times.
Luggald Organs

Got my two in Dulak today. As you enter Dulak, stay to the left, go through the hidden tunnel, then go into the first luggald chamber on the right (2 braziers, 1 with 2 mobs, 1 with 3 mobs, 2 patrol mobs, and 2 door guard mobs). I setup camp along the left wall in the back corner, and only the patrol mobs will attack you there.

Took me about 90 minutes of clearing 7 spawns to get my 2 organs (got 8-10 luggald flesh drops in the same amount of time, so about 4x more rare then those). Both drops were off of different mobs, so it's a random drop off of all types of luggalds. Got about a blue of experience per 2 hours spent there when I duo'd with a 51 druid (I'm a 53 SK). Loot resulted in about 400 plat from the claws, daggers, jewelry and gems.

Cedric's location: Stonebrunt Mountains - east of the ship along the top of the cliffs in a pair of Kobold tents. Loc neg 4450 neg 3450 neg 185.

Update: Saw another organ drop just *past* the 3-way bridge down in the luggald caverns. So the organs do not just drop in the first cavern on the right before the bridge.

this should help
# Mar 22 2003 at 6:02 PM Rating: Good
this was taken from a post on casters realm. thought it would be nice for the peeps like me who use this site more often... aparently Cedric Trallus is east of the gunthak zone, in Stoneburnt.

You say, 'Hail, Cedric Trallus'

Cedric Trallus says 'Hello Knayil, chancing a journey to Brokenskull are you? Many have
ventured there, but few have returned. I was favored by the will of Thule to return here in
one piece, although I would not call my [journey] exactly successful.'

You say, 'what journey'

Cedric Trallus says 'Our spies in Erudin were able to learn that a voyage of Deepwater
knights was setting sail in search of Broken Skull Island. Our priests in Paineel had
received several visions from the lord Cazic telling of great powers that might be found on
this island. Our group was instructed to follow their ship across the waters and explore the
island should we find it. Find it they did, and more then they ever bargained for on that
[cursed isle].'

You say, 'what cursed isle'

Cedric Trallus says 'Just as the Deepwater knights were about to drop anchor near a small
cove on the island, we attacked them. The magic cloaks we had placed over our ship did their
job all too well. We took them by surprise and our forces easily over powered them, but our
battle was joined by a [third force].'

You say, 'what third force'

Cedric Trallus says 'A group of strange creatures crawled up the side of the boats and began
to attack everyone on both sides. They cut through many of us before we were able to retreat
our forces back to our ship and turn our sails away from the island. Several of the
creatures pursued us through the water with amazing speed. We fought them off and we forced
them back into the sea. We were able to slay one of them, or so we thought. We brought the
[body] back to Paineel for the priests to study.'

You say, 'what body'

Cedric Trallus says 'When we docked here in Paineel we were carrying the body off of the
ship when suddenly the creature came to life. It threw several of our knights into the water
and then jumped in himself and swam off into the ocean. We suspect that it used some form of
magic to fool us into believing it was actually dead. The necromancers of Paineel are not
easily fooled in matters of life and death. We greatly desire to study the [organs] of these
creatures to learn the secret of this new magic.'

You say, 'what organs'

Cedric Trallus says 'Bring me two samples of these creatures internal organs for our priests
to study and we may share the secret of their magic with you. Something tells me you won't
come back alive though.'

Hand him 2 Luggald organs. You can get these in Dulak, after zoning in from Gunthak to the
left is a "wooden wall" or ship. This hides a secret entrance into some tunnels. In these
tunnels is a 3 way bridge, this is were the organs dropped.

You gain experience!!

Cedric Trallus takes the organs from you and lays them down on the ground before him. He
begins to slice and separate the organs from one another with a wicked looking dagger. Dark
blue blood stains his robe as he probes the strange flesh. Finally after several minutes he
smiles and pulls a parchment from a bag at this side and begins to draw several runes using
the dark blue blood. 'Take this, I have discovered the secret of their magic, or so I
believe. Of course it might not work and you'll end up actually dead, but we'll never know
till you try will we?

Cedric Trallus says 'As you take the scroll from him you notice a sickly burning odor in the
air. You glance down at Cedric's robes and notice several holes beginning to form where the
blood touches his [robes].'

You say, 'what robes'

Cedric Trallus glances at the burns in his robes inquisitively.' It seems aspect of the
luggald's system is acidic in nature. Perhaps we have yet to find the secret of their
comatose state. I'll need more samples to continue my research. This time bring me purified
samples of their bile, blood, and saliva and I will study them.

This will give you comatose.

Hope this helps i am going to try it soon...

This is quest script as npc says it. After you give 2 luggald organs to him, you get blood of pain spell. Then he gives you next quest. should be comatose for that. That is next for me. I found the luggald organs at the bridge only, like the info here says. Going after next spell soon. salute

Organs in Dulak
# Mar 16 2003 at 10:33 PM Rating: Default
From what I hear, the Luggald Organs needed to get this spell are found on the Luggalds in Dulak Harbor to the left as you zone, in the tunnel behind what looks like the zone wall (wooden planks of a wrecked ship).

This is yet unconfirmed.

Alrighty you guys are nums plain and simple. It is one of the two new spells from the new LoY expansion... Check things out before you start spreading false information...

/rant off

Now, if anyone knows who gives the quest or what I need to finish it, that would be a helpful post
# Feb 07 2003 at 8:32 AM Rating: Default
not necessarily a fake, this is said to be a quest spell, quest spells are often better for their level than your average vendor bought spell, this is supposed to be a PoP quest spell that was added in on 1/09/03 according to lucy.fnord.net, and despite several days of searching for it I have yet to find anyone who has heard of it, or where is drops from but it does look pretty nice
