You sure agro was not just because you were putting out some pretty hefty damage with your weapon versus whoever else was in your group?? I have been in many fights in LDoN where the proc was resisted 3-4 times and still no agro. Let the mob get solidily on your main tank, then engage.

Any and all rogue resisted procs and abilities are basically Rogue Taunt ability. If you know a mob is holding a magic weapon and your tank is getting spanked, disarm the mob and evade.... and pray HIDE is max'd. This is one way to save you tank for that Complete heal long enough for him to live and you to do some fancy foot work. Any Proc resisted makes you move up on the Hate List. Kinda be nice if Sony would do the proc in opposite order... reduce hate by 200 then damage and finally stun and a side proc.

On high-end, stun immune mobs, this proc is always resisted. Unfortunately, I have noticed that I get LOTS of agro during these encounters, which leads me to believe that this proc will create more agro than normal if it tries to land on immune mobs.

I suppose the mob gets pissed that a stun was attempted on it, and when the proc gets resisted, so does the negating agro effect. Meanwhile, all the mob saw was a stun attempt that failed, and you grab agro that you may not want to have.

Yeah, in general I notice the same thing with wizzy stun spells. When they get resisted the amount of aggro seems to be far far greater than when they hit.

Good point, I believe you are correct.

It is most unfortunate that SoE has changed resists so they no longer generate aggro. Pallies got the shaft again.

lvl 62 RNG here, just fresh in from another round of kiting in HoH:

On the rare occasion my Harmony of Nature is resisted, there's a check (against my CHA???) to see if the mob aggros - and if it DOES aggro, BOY does he aggro! The poor Necro was getting Aggro envy ;-)

There is definitely still aggro from resisted spells - and lots of it.

Apparently the resist thing never got implented or something, or is apparently only true in a certain expansion; the details are hazy.
