If this is truly an Illusion... and not a renaming of druid wolf form ... why isn't it castable indoors ? Huh Sony... you like Apples... ?

This particular illusion increases your run speed, much like "spirit of wolf". It drops when you cast a spell or get hit by something (a bit like with spirit of cheetah) and as it's properties to enhance your speed like Spirit of wolf, it therefore cannot be cast indoors.

This spell, unlike Spirit of Cheetah, does not drop when you get hit or cast a spell. It does however drop when you zone as does any illusion.
Just bought this on Povar from Illusionist Jerup.

The wolf forms don't reduce agro exactly. The reason it stops you being kos to the animals in JP is that wolf form spells (all?)have a 'faction modifier'. Ie they will raise your faction temporarily when you're in your fur with some NPCs (eg in JP), whereas it will lower it with others (eg in PoS).
I don't know if this particular wolf form effects any factions, but i'm sure that it probably will.

Did a simple little test to see the Speed. I ran down a long strech of tunnel and timed myself. Not exact of course but...
No speed increase 34 Sec
Jboots 25 Sec
Scaled Wolf 23 Sec
So I see a slight increase over Jboots. I prob won't bother to sit and mem a spell when I can just click Jboots, but if ya don't have Jboots your good to go.

For a strip that took you 34 seconds to run, it should've taken you:
25.2 seconds with JBoots.
23.9 to 23.4 seconds with IllusionScaled Wolf (23.4s@lvl50)
Illusion Scaled Wolf is 42% to 45% faster than normal (45%@lvl50).
Illusion Scaled Wolf is 5.2% to 7.4% faster than JBoots (7.4%@lvl50).*
Looks like your trial numbers are accurate! Still, the Engineer in me is always doing analysis .:P

It is available on all servers it seems.
In the PoK library, down 2 flights of stairs, in the SW corner is a block with a bunch of enchanter spell vendors. To the right of that block is a single vendor, "Illusionist Jerup".
With Charisma at 139, spell cost me 23pp, 1gp, 5sp, 2cp.
It is No Drop.

Sort of looks like an Iksar Beastlord pet; but different colors.
The actual race is Chokodai, of the Sarnak variety.
Not positive about this spell but dru spells like it (wolf form) are not stackable with sow or run 3 (AA's) it's one or the other.

I have timed myself running distances with this spell on and off. I have not noticed any changes in speed as a result of this spell. I have run 3, so perhaps it's not as fast as 45%, but I see no speed improvement.

There is a movement speed increase. Beside the fact that we get the column under quick mem "Movement" with this in it, I ran around (without AA run) and timed myself vs. Illusion: Scaled Wolf and there's a noticable difference.
And just the looks you get from people when you run by is worth it.
Almost forgot... It doesn't stack with SoW.

This spell could be purchase from illusionist in pok library, from the one who turn spectral rune and etheral parchement !! Finally we get self sow via illusion, WOOT !!!

As of the patch on 8-06-03 this spell is NOW available!! Unfortunetly I have yet have the chance to look for it...

According to a post on castersrealm, this is a GM only spell

I just hope they don't nerf it too much or use a KOS everywhere illusion with it.

This spell might come active on the next patch. I had a conversation with a GM (lvl 54 enchanter) and according to him, this spell has not gone live yet. Hopefully they will activate the quest or NPC drop or vendor or whatever during the patch on 9th on January.

they do have quest for people under 40 in pok so they might make you quest for this spell !

After searching all the vendors in Pok, and Eurd. there is still no sign of this spell.
This is not a quest spell it is a vendor bought spell, as it is a pop expansion spell i assume it will found on a vendor in the Library in PoK
as it is a level 44 spell it will not be a turn in scroll type spell. Considering that no char under level 46 can enter the plains other then PoK it would seem unlikely they would make a spell that was not attainable to the class by putting it in a zone they cannot get into.

Heh I could hear the droods whining now =D.
Why? Cause we don't have to cast Greater Wolf form on you anymore? As much extra mana that enchanters give groups, any enchanter in my group can have wolf form anytime they want as long as we are in a zone where it can be cast. (Outdoors)
If this spell ever goes live for players, GRATZ to any enchanter that gets it. You poor people die enough. It's about time they gave you something to help keep you out of harms way.
