Broken

Since the patch which reduced all poison line spell aggro (radically ticking off aggrokiting necros) this effect has been broken... it does nothing, doesn't give the 'your X glows whatever' message when you cast tash etc.

The devs say they are aware but they have done nothing about it.

Nice job... do nothing and still get paid... gotta love em.

This is WONDERFUL!

One thing I know I gave up on in the lower 50s was the chain color stunning to take care of unslowable mobs. But with this, I've been able to go back at it. I'm color stunning and meleeing in between casts and now I don't pull agro off the tank (I do Boon myself for more procs, but I find it procs a decent amount anyways). Definately a keeper.

just for anyone who's reading this -- stuns dont add poison counters, so this doesnt effect our stuns =).
Serves one purpose

This is fairly useless except for One spell. The Tash line. Our nukes and Dots are MR based. Tash is poison. the Staff "glows blue" (text only) when Tash is cast. Nice for tashing a mob boss and not getting agro... totally useless for anything else. Have an item with this on you in a bag.... but have something better most other times. Kelp Hilted Mace very nice stats (not to mention proc for semi-meleeing)
But does it work?

The problem is.. there's no glow for the effect and no way to tell if it worked. In using it I surely havent been able to see any difference in whether I got aggro or not. So its been banked for quite a while as not even worth trucking around for swap gear.

well if the effect works, you are not going to SEE a "glow" spell effect.... what you will SEE is a message saying ... " Your (item) glows/shimmers/etc briefly " in your chatbox. It's the same for any item with a focus effect. If you dont already have spell text seperated from battle spam maybe you're just missing it?
Huh?

I see you are still new at being an enchanter so let me give you a little information reguarding our spells. The only spells chanters use that have a component making them poison based is our tash line. Of course this is the spell that is expected to cast by us first and foremost and is EXTREMELY aggro inducing. Being unresistable it really annoys mobs, especially the more intelligent ones that know after its tashed, there's soon to be a barrage of other magic being hurled its way. Having the aggro reduced on one of the most aggroinciting spells in the game is a chanters dream.

Untrue.

Malos is also a debuff, is also unresistable, and generates a lot less hate. It's just the way Sony chose to code them, don't put any logic behind it.
Limit?

Looking at the description on this effect, does it only work on Poison Counter spells? So basically, only the Choke line of spells? This would be a pretty bad effect for chanters from the SEBL if that line is the only one effected. Unless... Do all of the slows/debuffs from chanters work on Poison Counters? If so, this is actually good. I love slowing, but I hate aggro =)
