Which heals actually benefit from IH now?

What I would like to know is with the current restrictions on Improved Healing IV, which post-60th heal spells actually benefit from this focus effect? Complete and Percentage heals are excluded, so would it be safe to assume the quick ("nuke") heals are the only beneficiaries? Would be nice to compile a current list of Works / Doesn't Work. :)

degradation at 67?

20% loss at level 67. Does this mean that the effect is now zero or would it mean that instead of a 20% greater heal you will get a 16% increased heal?

Druids get Karana's Renewal at 64 that heals for 4.Xk hp.. also get Nature's Infusion that's a fastheal for 1.75k but I forget whether that's 60 or 61.. Does anyone know if this effect stacks with Tunare's Renewal or Nature's infusion?

The dr00d CH's, Tunare's Renewal and Karana's Renewal are excluded from the effect...

Ok whats the deal, I loot an item with IH4 on it.

cast a 1525 point heal spell... with OUT the item.
with the item the same spell heals +50 points..

/gets out the calculator.

1525 X 1.20 = 1830

not 1575...

Its a random 0% - 20% healing boost... thats the way all the Improved Healing foci work.

Though for me, its usually all or none, usually all though.

Have found the same sort of thing. A heal spell I cast normaly crits for 3104 when NOT wearing this item. WITH this item on, I have had crit heals of 3149, 3195, 3256 and 3332. Looks like the bonus healing percentage is not set in stone at 20%

That shouldn't be all that surprising as it works the same way on Improved Healing I through III items as well. The amount of extra healing you get each cast ranges from 0% to 20%.

Sure it is a suprise considering my 65 Cleric did not have a Improved Healing I,II or III item to play with heals I have outgrown.
Ya think dat might be duh logical option and der common Spock?
Da needs of da many do not out weigh da needs of da Ogre Hungry ! Ogre Bash joo egghead <bonk> :)

So yea that kinda blows to score the HOLY GRAIL focus effect for my Class and find out my Improved Healing IV could give less then advertized ^ arrow points up.

Ok im sorry , me be nice now. XOXO Suzy
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 24 2002 at 12:07 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Druid spell, Superior Healing, level 51, is not effected by Improved Healing 3. IH3 only goes to level 48 or 49 (can't remember which).

focus effect 1 goes up to level 22, focus effect 2 goes up to level 44, focus effect 3 goes up to level 60, focus effect 4 goes all the way to 65. This applies to ALL of the numbered focus effects (named effects vary). If that wasn't the case my Obdulious Death Shroud wouldn't even compete with the 8th coldain prayer shawl, as it is I'm not sure if it's worth taking that last step...(ODS has mana conservation 3, which reduces the cost of all my level 60 or less spells by 10% mana. Works out to alot more mana saved than FT 2 would grant me.)
useless?

Is anyone aware of a healing spell that this would work on but Improved Healing 3 wouldn't?

Dosen't work on any of the new cleric regen spells, I'm not aware of druids receiving any new heals beyond 60, or shamman for that matter. I haven't seen this available to Paladins (I'd assume they get a post 60 healing spell, only makes WAY too much sense.), and I'm not sure if necro HP restoring spells are considered healing.

Anyone come up with a spell this is necessary for in the year of 2002?

Level 62 Shaman Spell, Tnarg's Mending (1300 hit points in 3.75 seconds.)

With this affect, that spell will heal 1560 Hit points. Given the 450 mana cost for this "quick heal" (which replaced our second Incomplete heal, /rude Sony), a lot of Shaman are probably going to want to find something to increase the strength of the spell even a bit.
