this has a -200 mod, reduces mobs DPS and fire resist, and stacks with almost everything except other druid Ro spells.

Actually, it stacks with Illumination of Ro, Immolation/Breath of Ro. You can debuff the crap out of your mobs.
Use It

If you are a drood and have this spell....USE IT!!

With EQ2 and the coresponding server depops I do a lot of cleric work. When healing a group it is VERY noticible how much this spell helps. Roughly it seems to reduce tank damage by 30 to 50 percent depending on the tanks AA's. I can't explain exactly why, but I assume when tanking white or yellow mobs the ATK of the mob is matched closely to the tanks defense. Dropping the ATK of the mob by 100 seems to make a BIG difference. Some more than others but most tanks that pay attention notice it big time and you WILL heal less using this spell.

I don't think this stacks with Ro's Illumination but would appreciate input on this point since RI is a good ATK debuff also.

Buff the player you are PLing with SLN, chloro, str, wolf form (only IF not kicking melee and no KOS for wolf form) and lvl 49 DS. When the person being PL'd gets agro, use Hand of Ro and Ro's Illumination, snare, damage free root (Savage Roots), then med. Blood Starved Wolves in Dawnshroud Peaks hit in the 20s, even on an enchanter, when 180 attack debuffed, and NEVER!!! slow the mob, let the DS do the talking :) You could even Eci the mob for further 24 ac debuff, but unless you have KEI and self buffs, the mana is not worth it. Remember to buff pets (even lvl 1 pets) with your best buffs, they do stick. Love seeing lvl 1 pets have POT9, 40pt DS, Nature's Might and Replenishment on. Oh yes, Spirit Of The Wood does work on lvl 1 players, and when extended, it does over 2000 heal without drawing agro onto you. Watch that now 79pt DS kill a hoard of mobs for fast mid lvl PLing.

Master PLer of the 65th seasons (and no, I only PL for fun and pleasure, no profit other than mutual company.)

That's true, Juion... and I believe the pets follow their *master's* level restriction regardless of THEIR con. I am not 100% sure about this point, but I've been able to cast on green pets that belonged to players who could take the 51+ spell themselves.

Now that pets can zone, buffing lower level pets have been nerfed. :(

I'll bet that a 72 point FR debuff will REALLY hack off a foe...
The -200 on the FR check makes it much better. Too many of the earlier Ro spells are resisted.
Great spell

This spell is very good. Cast this on the mob, then nuke with your lvl 64 fire nuke, and you will hit for full nearly everytime. Even though PoP mobs push 2000 attack, debuffing 100 attack is signifigant, and the ac debuff doesnt hurt either. Because of the resist modifier on this spell (-200) it is very very rarely, if ever resisted. Unless your target is 100% fire resistent, this should be your opener all the time.
