Is that this spell for mages that specialize in conjuration is incredibly mana efficient, it also works on mobs that are fire resistant, and has a slightly faster cast time than SOFB.
Coupled with regular critical nukes and your summoned bracelets, rings and earings or items with similar effects, this spell will be awsome!

In order to have a druid hit for 3k they would have to be focused and have spell casting fury 3 and get a critical blast.
A magician with spell casting fury 3 and a gallenites focus item firebolt of talon has been known to hit for 4600.

considering that summers flame <http://www.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=3449> with 1400dmg is a druids highest dmg nuke (and a level later) your 3k all the time is not true.
with a mage having the standard equiped galantines bracer the general output for a mage casting this spell would be 1640dmg
