I summoned the new ward of xegony pet and the usual armor (plate,shield,etc.) and weapons. My pet would not take any of the armor pieces. Any ideas?

Pets come pre equipped with all armor now including the haste neck. All you have to do is give it weapons.

Found this spell today on Elementalist Somat in PoK for 23pp.He only had the 1 copy.Unfortunately it was about 5 minutes after bought it in the bazaar for 200pp.
I finally got to test this pet out a little bit in Barren Coast this morning on a LB saltwater crocidile that agroed because of no invis. Pet had no buffs except burnout IV, 2 BotW = blade of the wanlan, all Prime gear and mask of mochwa. Pet stunned the croc right off the bat and took agro, started hitting it for 88's and 144's nothing less. I layed on the big nukes for lvl 63 and never took agro from pet. Pet got down to about 65-70% hp's before the croc died. I have not tested this pet without any gear so not sure how it does then but from what I have seen I am pretty happy with this pet and glad I got it. Cant wait to see what the higher end air pet can do.
Oh if anyone needs this on The Nameless I have 2 in bank that I made and will sell cheap. Look up Coldrage and PST if your interested. Last time I looked in baz there was only 2 one for 3k and one for 6k. Cost me 1.5k to make one spell and that is the price ill sell them for.

Thought this new air pet could kill level 45 and lower mobs in one hit is that true?

If you have been a fan of the earth pet for a long time, don't pass this pet up because it's an air pet. It is a VERY good petfor solo, but even better for grouping. Like I have read in some of the previous comments. This pet can make a fairly decent tank if necessary, BUT if it is getting out tanked by someone else, it moves to the back of the mob and continues to do it's job. Also, a very good stun effect. Two thumbs up!

this pet hits mostly high 80's sometimes low 90's whne he has hand of xiblat he procs 70 and 140 quite often w/ CV he tanks PoN iffy but thats w/ mage low level heal hope this helps some
Was killin in PoJ maelin hall with a 63 ranger and 64 bst and had 1 drop first few mins and ranger got it, 3 hours later i was gonna call it quits and nuked the hell out of a wraith and it dropped this, bst and I rolled and i won.
Was like woo and ran to PoK after split *900 plat per, not bad* and turned it in praying to god i got this for my first turn in, which i did. Lvl 58 atm almost 59 and am probably going to skip 59 air pet because on test, no mage has over 100+ research ( think my 113 is the highest) and i dont feel like wasting the supplies. WOOT, and good luck on yours.

i see allot of peeps here posting this pet hits for over 80 my 61 air pet only hits for 48 what am i missing

I recently popped on my mage, which I haevnt played in at least a year and I also noticed that my 61'st Air pet was hitting for 48 which I thought was really strange. The only solution I could figure is because I was fighting a "green" mob. Now, as we all know green mobs do give exp and the grey mobs do not. Anyway if anyone could confim or assist, that would be great.

LVL 56 mage on Torv server,bought this spell LATE one night in bazaar and i know everyone is gonna say im lying,but i swear on my white drum,i bought this spell for 25pp,I FELL OFF MY CHAIR WHEN I SEEN IT,the trader also had talisman of return and flameshield of ro,for 25pp a piece as well,snatched these quick and they are sitting safely in my bank,cant wait to cast this bugger for the first time!!!Happy Hunting

I have read and heard so many people say "the 61 air pet is great".
Not that I don't believe them, but I'd love to hear from someone who has the pet. What are it's capabilities? How hard does it hit? Does it still stun? Does it do something the pre 60 pets don't do?
Any information you care to share would be most appreciated!

I just left a group in Plane of Storms.
65 Mage (me)
65 Bard
61 Beastlord
61 Chanter
60 Shaman
59 Cleric
Neither the bard or the beast wanted to tank (for obvious reasons) so my pet was the MT. On a few occasions aggro bounced to the beastlord pet, but 95% of the time my pet was our MT.
At the end of the group only the chanter, the cleric and myself remained and we decided to pull one to see how it went. The cleric declared that my pet was now on his best tanks list and we ended up pulling a dozen or so more mobs before calling it quits for the night.
As far as stats. It seems to have around 4k hitpoints unbuffed. Hits for high 80's. The pet cons even to my level 60 Shaman so it's stuns land about 98% of the time and the stun seems to be about a 4-5 second stun. It ENRAGES at low health and dishes out quite a bit of damage.
IMO the best pet in the game... hope I helped.

***edit*** afterthought - we were at the Waterhole camp pulling Dillos, Cacti, Scorpions and one occassion even took down a Storm Giant... all with my little Jobober leading the charge... lol

Enrage at 10% health
Now I'm not even thinking about going for my Epic. It is too close a call between them, and this one is a tad less trouble to get.

Looking to buy this spell on Maelin Starpyre. I have played the Parchment Lottery enough. Still haven't received this spell, but I have lots so summoned Jewelery spells. sigh. Waste of effort and time to get spells through this lottery system. I got my research skill up to 200, but can't research any PoP spells. Crappy, Crappy, Crappy.
