If you give the pet a 2h weapon it will hit for 2x the weapon damage and can hit for more than the normal max hit. For example if you give him a Rusty Two Handed Sword (9 damage) he will hit for 18. The delay of the weapon does not effect the pets hit delay.
Tested as of 5/2/21 on Aradune TLP.

this pet can dual wield if given weapons. for 2 handers the delay doesnt affect attack speed but they will not take any delay higher then 50

He will hold two weapons but will not actually dual wield. I tested all of these pets with parses.

I soloed a mob in icefall with this pet. He is truly a killer.
All the Level 4 pets can be bought from Elementalist Kaeob in the PoK Library.

I bought mine in Erudin from Killi Frillep. She is in the Mage Guild upstairs. Bought all pet spells from 4-12 in there, and most all of the others except for the two you have to buy in bazaar. Easy to get too from PoK and lvl 4 spells were 4g, Lvl 8 pets were 4p 9silver. My CHA is only 75 so I'm sure if yours is higher they would be cheaper. : ) Good luck and Hope this helps.
