does this stack with mana preservations?

The new effect is 20% mana reduction to the 62 spell Condemnation. I tested out the other 4 cleric nukes (lol oxymoron) and Condemnation was the only one that prompted the message: Your Gauntlets of Vengeful Fury flickers with a pale light. However, Condemnation was the only one of the spells that did not trigger my Boots of Vengeful Fury (mana preservation IV) meaning the effect does not stack with mana preservation effects at this time.

look at the numbers then think again

retribution is 24 0mana 4.6 second cast time and peaks 496 damage?<br><br>
and then theres wrath with a 3.5 second cast time and 145 mana cost with this effect would have a max dmg of 436? <br>

i think it makes alot more sense to use wrath over retribution mainly because of the cast time and mana efficiency, especially during travel when those greenies beat on u and since ur a cleric u cant really hit em back all that well

this isn't as great as it looks.....wrath, which is the only spell that this effect applies to, is only a level 29 DD. It eventually caps at 218 pts of damage at lvl 39. Maximum damage from Wrath while under this focus effect is (218*2) or 436 points of damage. the level 44 spell Retribution does a minimum of 496 points of damage, thus making this effect of much less importance to clerics who do not keep more than one DD spell memmed. In short, the effect is not worth a cleric's time if they get above lvl 43. Get the gaunts for the stats, not the effect
