Agnarr slow effect

On Agnarr my bard has 141% haste inherently, with a 41% haste item.

Casting this on self, she dropped to 45%, which means, as others have stated, this spell removes any haste effects on a mob and THEN reduces their attack speed by 55%, Not too bad.

Notice 12s recast timer so not ideal to slow a pack of mobs in camp.

In which case use aoe Melody of Mischief which reduces all mobs attack speed by 43% and, being an aoe song, has no recast timer.

Id just like to add that its not just 55%, it also cancels haste if the mob has any. That is, if the target is hasted to 225% it will drop them to 45%. Tested on an alt so I could see his actual haste stat.
also cancels haste

Did a test of this song on myself as a lvl 70 bard with the 2.0 epic [19 brass mod]. Only got myself down to 45% haste thus it seems to max out at 55% slow. Useful song because it does no damage like all other slows bards have prior [Won't break mez]. I typically prefer to twist in aoe slows more though cause it's easier to not have to break melody every time I want to slow a mob like what happens using this single target song.

The slow percentage for this spell is 55% max. Confirmed by with a 115 Bard casting on a lvl 1 player via /duel. Haste went from 100% to 45% on the stats tab when the slow landed. Bard had 35 Brass Resonance, worn (even though this will not affect the haste %).
Doesn't overwrite other slow spells

This song can also be used as an overslow if you have a second slower with you.
clicky

This would make a killer clicky if it were slapped on some item. No recast crap either.
Mod
# Jan 07 2008 at 6:16 PM Rating: Default
I noticed something while using this in Lopping Planes. When I had my Epic 1.0 on, it would only slow for Partial. When I put my 3.2 Mod Horn on, it slowed for full. So yes, having high mod does effect how much you're able to slow for in terms of partials, etc.

In the case of this type of spell the mod only makes it harder to resist. Just like mez and charm.
FYI

This song does not cause damage of any sort .. It's a single target slow.
instruments enhance this?
# Jan 01 2006 at 9:19 PM Rating: Decent
do instruments make this song a stronger slow? or just more likely to stick? neither? both? it doesn't seem like instrument modifiers would increase the slow % of this since then you could do like a 170% slow. Just want to know if anyone knows about this.
what % with 1.0, 1.5, 2.0??

at lvl 70, with epic 1.0, what % would this be at? since the 1.0 is +80% to all, and this is 55% slow, what would the calculation be? and what is it with the 1.5 and 2.0?
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 21 2005 at 8:11 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Major Nerf to this song line cuz it's no longer single target it's AE . meaning... that unless mobs are MEZZED AND ROOTED, this song is useless in situations where crowd control is a must...

Yeah, EQCaster does not correctly calculate damage for the PoP spells. Plus, the description goes from lvl 61 to lvl 60, and this spell isn't even usable at lvl 60.
