Fought this bloody shroom, rather easy. Had 53 Necro and me 39 Druid, died quickly it did. Didn't drop the spell, gonna make this stupid shroom die whenever I can, I hate it and it's 3 hour spawn time. Stupid shroom, stupid spell. Necro sent pet to fight it we DoTed and nuked.
The only mob that I have heard of that drops this spell is the grand sphrocite or something like that in Echo Caverns. It is supposed to be a badass mob (con even at 35 but is such a severe undercon that you need a group of low 50's to take him down consistently) and the drop rate is sooooooooo low that you see people aucitoning it for over 1000PP in bazaar (I doubt anyone is buying this spell for that much but that's what people figure the trouble was worth).
This isn't even what I would call a great spell and by the time you need it you have access to remove greater curse (maybe necessary somewhere before you can get the 54 remove greater curse spell but I couldn't tell you where). I know very few people who are going through the time or expense of getting this spell (the only ones that are are the ones that are so **** that they cannpot bear to have that gap in their spellbook even though they will probqably never use the spell.

I believe that this spell requires one Peridot as reagent.

Has ANYONE successfully Removed a Curse with this Spell? I have tried it on the one's cast in FG and Scarlet Desert without any success. How about you?
It only removes 4 curse counters so you will usually need at least 2 castings. It gets rid of slows, debuffs, curse based dots...

The spell is dropped by a named shroom in Echo Cavs..I believe the Great Saprophyte but for the effort involved not to metion the inherant risks I can't say that it is worth it.
I think it is only somewhere in the mid 30's but can summon and root and own a group.
I have made 51 without it and unless I see it as easy picking I am not gonna bother.

Ok, somebody please fill me in on what a "curse" counter is. I know about the cure disease and cure Poison, but what spells are classified as a curse? Would be nice to know...

Curses are only cast by mobs on Luclin. The sun revnants and such in the scarlet desert definately cast nasty curse spells. They are a dot basicly like a poison or disease, but they can't be removed with cure poison or cure disease. If you don't fight these mobs, then you won't ever use the spell.
**EDIT: Now that more expansions have come out, they also use spells with curse counters. Any expansion newer than Luclin may have curse spells. They are not that common, however. Some of the later expansion spells stack so many counters, even remove greater curse may take a couple of casts.

Could some one post the location and name of NPC that drops this spell i need it thanks.,
Anyone know of a vendor that sells this particular spell? Sounds like something a gypsy would offer for sale!

Unlike it says at the top it is not vendor sold. It is dropped by The Great Saprophyte in Echo Caverns.
I believe this spell is sometimes dropped by the named mushroom in Echo Caverns. Can't remember the npc's name but he is located near the FG zone. He is in his 30's and summons, yes summons.

I have the spell and I telling you its not worth the trouble I got killed five times trying to get it with a 50+ group. Its the meanest thing you will ever want to fight summons you and others and roots and takes you down in a hurry LOL Funny now but at the time I was hot. I have used it twice In Velious, when someone pleaded for a cure. And then all I got was a thanks and he ran off. So its not worth it to get.
