It doesn't say so in the description of the item, but the proc on this sword actually has a lifetap component as well as the damage. I verified this in my combat logs today.

Which sword are you talking about? The message "life force drains from the serpent's bite." is just the message for the nuke. Are you getting another message beyond that?

This is in reference to The Sword of Ssraeshza. It says "[Your Character] has been healed for 100 points" in the combat log in addition to what's listed here.
