Yes, it still drops .. I got mine from the Burrower in the Deep about 2 week ago on the Tribunal.
I have been over lvl 60 for quite some time now and after about 2 months I gave up my search for this song. I was told by several bards that it was a test server song that never mad eit..like the FD song that I REALLY wish we had lol. Anyhow lsat night someone linked the song to me. Now if Verant plays nice and keeps mobs at a reasonable sized mana pool then this song will be awesome. But its been my experience that they normally give them an unimaginable amount of mana. I soloed Phin when I was getting my bard epic piece. Mez him...sit back and twist both mana drain songs and mez for nearly half an hour and never did it drain his mana. I know the 2 previous mana drains were not large mana drains but in half an hour you would imgagine he would be oom....so the fight ensues and he of cours begins casting again. Repeatedly! What teh frig man?! I mean really. Anyways 220 without bras instrument would make for what...396? which is quite nice. Een tho it has a 18 sec refresh time on it. Like the Requim of time song.
It exists, I see it from time to time in baz(~20k on Tarew Marr), but since it drops off boss-type luclin mobs, it's not too surprising that ya haven't seen it...I'm also told that a single bard can fully mana drain Phinny using this song...though you'd prolly do fine if ya just did amp or puretone + veshaan instead (though I personally feel much better with a healer or a few dps around in addition...)

Picked this song up a couple months ago off of XTC. Sure 220 mana isn't real impressive and really wont do much by itself. Get four or five bards and a couple of Chanter draining mana on a mob and they tend to stop casting in a hurry. Sure wont be getting any gates off. My guild has four bards with this song and gating mobs don't exsist when all of us are together.

Casters Realm shows this as researchable, but no info. Anyone know if these PoP songs can be researched? Seems odd if they are, but as a crooner, I'll take what I can get.....chuckle

It's not PoP, and I doubt it is researchable...it's Luclin era (droped off Luclin boss-type mobs like 'ancient' spells)
