Has anyone ever tried hitting run then going AFK for a while to see if your location changes at all?

i used to play a chanter on rallos zek a long time ago, and i would use this spell to sneak attack people, imagine their suprise when the tree or the shrub they just ran past turns into somone and starts killing them.
In some ways, it is interesting to cast this in various places just to see what the designers think an object is. I have run all over guild hall casting this, and I see that the doorway outer ring for the non-opening doors is an object, as are the plugs, and more mundane things like the candles.
At one point I ended up as a 12 foot tall quill dipped into a giant ink pot.

Yeah I became a giant quill today ... not sure where the designers got that one from lol
Has anyone tried to cast this since the latest directx9 patch. I get the message "You can't change appearance here", I get the icon in the effects window and get rooted just as if it did take effect. Is this bugged?

Made the mistake of casting this just to see what it did. Ended up vacuuming the living room waiting for it to end.

You can drop any illusion by simply clicking on the illusion icon in your buff window. ;)

Causes caster to put on an illusion similar to surrounding objects. For example, if you are in a town, you may become a house, or a stove, etc.

I've heard a few times that this spell no longer has faction adjustment of any kind. Its mainly for fun. I didnt bother to pick this spell up (well.. actualy I forgot to, I like messing around with illusions. Try casting it just outside of the bank in PoK and start turning around in circles =p)
