As I have learned from playing other classes, sometimes you want to use a different-base spell because of mob resists. Don't try to cast a cold-based spell on an Everfrost mob, for example -- like barbarians, they have a higher level of cold resistance. Likewise, you wouldn't cast a fire damage spell on a Lavastorm mob. Having to tailor your attacks to the specific target(s) is what makes this game more than mindless button-pushing.

Something I've been noticing as i browse what each proc does.. besides Damage Type the damage ammount isnt changing by much.

Can this stack with other pet buffs such as fire or blizzard?
