My pally used it for the first time in Echo on undead slaves. Good proc rate for only 160ish dex, and dmg of 243 at lvl 45. Really gotta love it. LOL
I love this spell on my Pally. I took the advice from someone and took my paladin to the Gulf of Gunthak. About half the mobs on the shore are undead. This spell lasts for about an hour. I use this spell, the Fabled Ghoulbane, and the War Crested Ring (improved damage 4). The spell procs for around 230 damage on average. The sword procs for around 280. Undead really don't stand much of a chance. I can't wait to actually try out the combo in Mistmoore Catacombs.

This spell no longer says Decrease hitpoints by 165(L1) to 243 (L40). It now says Imbues your weapon with the power of Rodcet Nife, granting it a chance to cause great pain to undead creatures.
I was killing undead the other day and this spell was procing for 18, 40, etc... I only hit once for 243. This used to be a great spell why did sony nerf it?

I don't understand why yours is so low...I constantly get 165 to 243 when it procs(about once every mob,sometimes twice......once it proc'd [3] times against one skel in LDoN MM,all 3 were 243). Maybe it's determined by stats like Wisdom. I know DEX determines how often it proc's(my pally has 135 DEX). Pallies are Wisdom-based so any spell would be improved by higher WIS...that should pertain to effects for spells that depend on WIS as well.

Perhaps the mobs he was fighting where winning savings vs. magic throws on the proc and mitigating the damage?

Actually it was resisted a few time last night ... not sure what the (0) means =)

This spell is unresistable meaning that you cannot resist it when you are casting it on yourself. The proc it gives you is resistable - magic (0). The (0) determines how dificult it is to resist and (0) is somewhat dificult. The lower into the negative the (#) is the more dificult it is to resist, For instance (-200) is pretty close to unresistable.

If you really want to see an "unresistable" spell look up the level 59 enchanter spell "Rapture". -1000 resist.
