It's been said, but I will reiterate this point... 70 some more mana to debuff 3 extra points isn't a good trade off. Just keep using Siphon Strength and Despair until you find a more balanced trade off...
One more thing, if you are Main tank (as unlikely as that may or may not be, then the higher level spell might... MIGHT be better for keeping aggro. Otherwise, I'd save mana for Life tapping. Nothing is more obnoxious to your enemies than a SK who doesn't lose much health because he's constantly tapping the life of his target. ;)

I love this spell. Yes it has a high mana cost, but lets face it how much mana do we SKs really use We pull we kill we dont set back and dot like a wussie druid or nuke like a wizard. Use your skills and fight like the evil bastages you are
Is this line of spells really worth it? With the huge mana cost and seeminly tiny atk reduction. Do you really see a reduction in the mobs attack damage?
Something to keep in mind. If you're the main tank your primary job is to keep the mob on you and off the rest of the party. Debuff spells like this one have a tendency to do exactly that - keep the mob more ticked off at you than at the wizard that just landed a huge critical blast on whatever you're fighting.
So although this spell directly won't help keep you alive much longer it will indirectly help your group overall - especially if you're tanking a mob with a long fight time.

i hate this spell. as an ogre sk, i have very little mana, and this bad boy takes away a huge chunk of my manapool with it's 85 mana cost.
sure i's a nice little atk drain, and sure it's easy to get kei.
i shouldn't have to get kei when i'm in a group and not ma.
the str siphon spell only costs like 5 or 9 mana to cast, this spell needs to be revamped
