description #5 says:

"5: Stacking: Block new spell if slot 1 is effect 'Max Hitpoints' and < 1300" SO i take this as saying dont have your hp/ac buff in first slot of buffs or it wont stack. could be wrong will update this post once i get the spell and check out the different stack combinations

This spell does not stack with Pot9... I just tried... pot9 overtakes it... but when you got a mana pool at about 3.5k at 58 (I have no idea if that's good or not) C3 just don't cut it. When I have Pot9, it makes life a little easier.. but no druids selling on RZ, so this is an awsome spell to have...

BTW: I have no idea if it works with Beastlord regen spells... I'll let you know when I find out

With regard to your comment "C3 doesn't cut it", at level 54 VoQ (C5) will take on me. I think people in PoK always just ask for KEI and that is what they get. I asked an enchie to give me the highest clarity for a lvl 54 cleric and he tried C6 and then C5. C6 did not work, but C5 did. Now I know what to ask for and boy does my mana bar stay happy!!! Does anyone have info on what are the lowest levels that each clarity spell and each Aego line spells will cast on? Sorry for my ignorance, but haven't pulled out my cleric in years and am now deciding to get her going again. I was inspired by the epic 2 shield..isn't it gorgeous? I wish sony would update the graphics on robes and armor <sigh>. My human cleric used to look awesome in armor..now she looks like she has a space suit on.

Actually, I challenge you to have BAotR cast on your cleric (which you obviously have to make such a statement), then sit around until you can find somebody to cast 9's on you, or better yet, MGB it. BAotR is overwritten by nines. 9's overwrites BAotR. Every time. BAotR blocks Focus or HoS. Every time. I believe that you, in fact, were making some sort of blind assumption because I can assure you from repeated personal experience that I have just described the reality of the stacking for those particular spells.

So while your assertions regarding that it will stack with other Cleric buffs, Pally buffs, and blocks Focus are correct, suggesting that Bot9 doesn't overwrite it is incorrect. Trust me or not, but go ahead and try it if you insist.

>>>PoT9 wipes this buff, and any of the faith, resolution, valor line buffs. <<

This sounds incorrect....

I know Pot9 will NOT stack with temp, virtue, or the valor line.

But it WILL stack with the cleric self-only buff Armor of the Faithful.

If this spell is an upgrade to that line, then it should stack with Pot9 too....

Can anyone confirm?

I'm not sure exactly why PoT9 will stack with Armor of the Faithful but not stack with Blessed Armor of the Risen, but it won't. Perhaps it's the mana component with both 9's and BAotR that is absent in AotF, but that is only conjecture, and not fact, that it's the reason why.

Staking with Aego

The cleric self buff spells are the equivelent "buff spot" to shammy bufs like FoS, HoS, etc. etc.. So yes you can go get all cracked out I do all the time. So go get yourself KEI, Pot9, SD, toss this in with a symb or two and Bam you have 36 mana a tick. Let me tell ya nothing like a cleric who can keep the group at 100% and nuke like a mad man. Heal/DPS = uber cleric.

You were almost right, until you added PoT9 to your list.

PoT9 wipes this buff, and any of the faith, resolution, valor line buffs.

So if you get PoT9 you lost NOT ONLY this buff, but the reso line buff too.

For raid buffing, PoT9 + Fo7 + Symbol is better than regular cleric buffs (virtue+AoTZ)

However, unless you have BOTH a druid, AND a shaman around, you're better off with virtue and AoTZ than any combo involving PoT9.

So the best you can have is chanter line (KEI, Tranq, VoQ), BAoTR/AoTZ OR PoT9 , BL line (SL/SD) and Yaulp 5/6 OR horse/drogmor/sitting mana regen.

I just dinged 58 I have FT 5 plust KEI is 14 and i'm gonna work on getting enough AA to get mental clarity 3, plus this spell ft 6 = 28 mana regen. Sweet and then if u had Yaulp V in every now and then that is an extra 10 tick so at times 38 mana regen. I know the most regen someone can get from items is 15, is their a cap on how much you can get from spells?
# May 27 2003 at 6:49 AM Rating: Excellent
Upgrade of the cleic self only armor buffs. This one with a nice manaregen of 6/tick.

Combine this spell with yaulp V (manaregen 10/tick), KEI and some FT items.

For normal exp groups throw in your hammer pet to assist the tank and start swinging with your lvl 56 summoned hammer (heal when needed).

And after battle /g Cleric FM and ready for more.
